Katz offers to win. Manipulation of opinion, or Well, these public hearings? High-speed tram from Biryulyovo Zapadnoye to Prazhskaya metro station

These areas considered to be disrespectful and due to poor transport accessibility, a large number industrial zones, lack of metro and attractions. But in recent times the situation began to change dramatically: new roads are being built there, links are being built, the area is being improved, and the metro will soon come.

Transport infrastructure: link roads, flyovers, overpasses

To connect Western and Eastern Biryulyovo, separated by the Paveletskaya railway, a new city highway was built: Elevatornaya street - street Podolsky Cadets- Red Lighthouse Street. She connected Lipetskaya Street with Varshavskoye Highway and became a back-up for the Moscow Ring Road. In addition, new urban ground transport routes were launched along it to transport passengers to the Tsaritsyno and Prazhskaya metro stations.

The main on this highway was the overpass through railways Paveletsky direction of Moscow Railways. She connected Elevatornaya Street with Podolsky Cadets Street. The movement on it in August 2017 was opened by the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin.

“This is a very important link: it connects four districts, including Biryulyovo East and Biryulyovo Zapadnoye, which were separated for decades and were forced to visit each other across the Moscow Ring Road,” Sobyanin said.

Together with the overpass, access roads were opened from the side of Elevatornaya and Podolsky Kursantov streets. For the convenience of pedestrians, an underground passage was built across Elevatornaya Street next to the ambulance substation.

Red Mayak Street from Bitsevsky forest to the intersection with the street. Kirovogradskaya expanded from two to four lanes in both directions. Street Podolsky Cadets from the Warsaw highway to the street. The elevator was reconstructed. The elevator was expanded to six lanes.

Under the Pokrovsky overpass through the Kursk direction of the Moscow Railways, a U-turn and two underground passages were built on the street. Podolsky Cadets in the area of houses 1 and 7. The territory was landscaped.

“After these works were carried out, the traffic flow between Varshavskoye Highway and Lipetskaya street. The load on the southern section of the Moscow Ring Road has also been reduced. After the launch of overpasses, the capacity of roads in these areas of the city increased by a third, and public transport improved,”

Lipetskaya street is one of the main transport arteries in the south of the capital. It is rightly called the outbound highway: only along it you can leave the Biryulyovo Vostochnoe district to the city center or to the Moscow Ring Road.

Transport flows from the southeastern regions of the Moscow region flock here. It is from here that the M4 "Don" and M6 "Caspian" highways begin, along which you can get to North Caucasus and all Black Sea resorts.

The highway could not cope with such a flow of traffic and created huge traffic jams in the south of the city. Therefore, the authorities of the capital decided to reconstruct the street and build a new transverse traffic artery between Varshavskoye Highway and Lipetskaya Street through the paths of the Kursk and Paveletsky directions of the Moscow Railway.

The construction of an additional transverse link in the south of the capital began in January 2015 and was carried out in two stages. The first in September 2016 was opened a direct overpass along Lipetskaya Street.

She allowed to remove the traffic light at the intersection with elevator street th. Now the cars go to the Moscow Ring Road and towards the center without stopping. In addition, an additional exit appeared from the new Tsaritsyno microdistrict.

New flyover increased throughput Lipetsk - Elevator up to 30%. Along it, two one-way side passages were built for U-turns for cars leaving 6th Radialnaya and Elevatornaya streets. Also, a 600-meter section of Elevatornaya Street was laid from the street. Lipetskaya to st. Biryulevskaya.

As part of the first stage, 2.9 km of roads were built and reconstructed. For the convenience of pedestrians, an underground passage was made.

It is planned to build six stations on the Biryulyovskaya line: Klenovy Bulvar, Kuryanovo, Saburovo, Tsaritsyno, Biryulyovo Vostochnoye and Biryulyovo Zapadnoye.

“Today, during the construction of the Bolshoi circle line metro, the possibility of developing new radial directions, including Biryulyovo, is being laid. Thanks to this metro line, the metro will reach the areas of Nagatino-Sadovniki, Pechatniki, Moskvorechye-Saburovo and Biryulyovo. The metropolitan subway will become closer for almost 500 thousand citizens, -

High-speed tram from Biryulyovo Zapadnoye to Prazhskaya metro station

A high-speed tram line is planned to be built from the Prazhskaya metro station of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line to the Biryulyovo Zapadnoye area. It will run along the street. Red Lighthouse from the intersection with the street. Chertanovskaya, past the southern lobby of the Prazhskaya metro station.

The line will cross St. Kirovogradskaya, Warsaw highway, will stretch along the street. Podolsky Cadets, crossing the street. Road. Then it will pass along the overpass over the Kursk direction railway.

The reversal ring will be placed in the area West Biryulyovo at the intersection of st. Podolsky Cadets and st. Kharkov.

The new line will have nine stops, one of which will be located on the overpass. A tram depot and a terminal building will also be built.
The line is scheduled to be completed in 2020.

The second life of the cinema "Biryusinka"

The three-story building will also house a supermarket, a farm produce store, sports studios, cafes and restaurants.

Creative workshops will be organized here, where master classes will be held. For children provided educational classes and entertainment zones, for adults - cultural and sports events, thematic fairs.

A new tram line from Prazhskaya metro station to Vostochny Biryulyovo will be built in 2018. The line will be built at the expense of the city budget. “In the Targeted Investment Program for 2018-2020, we provided for the construction from the Prazhskaya metro station to the Vostochnoye Biryulyovo district,” said Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction.

On rails from "Prazhskaya" to Elevatornaya street

The length of the Biryulyovskaya line will be 5.2 km. The tram route will be high-speed, therefore, only ten stops are planned, and the distance between them is about 800 m.

The line will start even before the Prazhskaya metro station, on Krasny Mayak Street. It will be laid from the existing line on Chertanovskaya street. The next tram stop will be at the southern lobby of the Prazhskaya metro station of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line, and then at the intersection Warsaw highway and the streets of Podolsky Cadets. It will be called that - "Warsaw Highway".

Then the tram route will run along Podolskikh Kadsantov Street. On it, the tram will stop five times at the stops "Dorozhnaya Street", "Pokrovskaya Platform", crossing the overpass Kursk direction Moscow Railway, "Podolsky Cadets Street, 22", "Podolsky Cadets Street, 26", "Stupinsky Proezd".

The construction of a tram ring is planned at the intersection of Podolskikh Kursanty Street and Kharkivsky Proyezd. Here the tram will turn and go to reverse side, but first will call in Vostochnoe Biryulyovo. It will make its way to the intersection of Elevatornaya Street with Biryulevskaya Street, and from there it will go to the Prazhskaya metro station.

A tram depot for 150 rolling stock units will be built to serve the branch line. During peak hours, there will be between 11 and 15 trams on the line.

The tram line will shorten the way for residents of West and East Biryulyovo to the gray metro line. They will get to Prazhskaya 10-15 minutes faster.

The tram will go maximum speed– 25 km/h and above, and in order not to waste time at intersections along the entire route, traffic lights will be installed at controlled intervals.

They will try to make the line environmentally friendly and green. After the rails are laid, more than 2,000 trees and shrubs will be planted along the line, and lawns will be arranged. Noise from rail transport will not disturb residents of nearby houses, as the rails will be laid using a special technology using vibration-proof structures. The Biryulyovskaya branch will be used by approximately 150,000 people a day.

In the east of Moscow, a tram line will be laid along the Entuziastov Highway - from 3rd Vladimirskaya Street to the Ivanovskoye district. In fact, it will be an extension of the existing tram line from the metro station "Shosse Entuziastov". Now the tram runs along the highway, and then turns onto 3rd Vladimirskaya Street and ends its journey in the Novogireevo metro area.

The length of the new tram section will be about 4 km. Four stopping modules will be installed on the line, and the stops are planned to be named: Novogireevskaya Street, Bolshoi Kupavensky Proezd, Svobodny Prospekt, and Ivanovskoye. A tram ring will be built at the intersection of the Entuziastov Highway with the Moscow Ring Road. Tram tracks will be separated from the carriageway and pedestrian areas, and where they intersect with the carriageway, trams will have priority over other vehicles. In a separate canvas with a width of about 10 m, they will be able to move at a speed of 28–30 km/h.

It is planned to put 40 modern trams on the line every day. The route will pass through the territory with 80 thousand people. Now, in order to get to the nearest metro stations (Novogireevo or Pervomayskaya stations), residents spend on public transport during peak hours in traffic jams more than an hour. On a high-speed tram on a dedicated lane, the path to the metro will be reduced by about half. The load of the designed tram line will be 105 thousand people per day.

From the Lianozovo platform to the green line by tram

From the Lianozovo railway station, getting by tram to one of the planned stations on the northern section of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line is still a distant prospect. The construction of the light rail line in the north is planned after 2019. Perhaps it will reach the village of Severny, where the light green line will come after 2020, and the Fiztekh station will become the final one. In the distant future, the tram line may be extended from the Lianozovo platform to the Altufyevo and Medvedkovo metro stations.

A month ago tram rails and the reversal ring was opened on Tverskaya Zastava Square. Launched new route No. 7 linking Belorussky railway station with Kazan, Leningrad and Yaroslavl. In the month since the launch, the usual route No. 9 and the new route No. 7 have been used by 600,000 passengers. The rolling stock has been completely replaced. Now low-floor Vityaz-M trams run here. They run every 3-4 minutes. The new trams do not have turnstiles, and you can pay for your fare using validators located at the door.

Each car of such trams can accommodate up to 260 people, there are 60 seats in the cabin. The cars are equipped with satellite navigation and video surveillance cameras. The climate control system functions not only in the cabin, but also in the driver's cab. Thanks to the special design of the bogie, the tram moves almost silently. Mosgortrans has already received 100 Vityaz-M trams, and another 300 will arrive in the capital by the end of 2019.

By 2020, the total length of the new tram lines will be 24 km.

Friends, here you need to defend a little common sense in the construction of trams in Moscow. We are talking about the construction of a new tram line in Biryulyovo. The tram is a good thing, but the devil knows what they designed there again.

The story began 1.5 years ago. Then the General Plan Institute designed bad line, which did not solve the problem of Biryulyovo residents - how to get to the metro in the morning and back in the evening. In the project, the line ran along the outskirts of the Biryulyovo Zapadnoye district, that is, it did not cover a significant part of residential buildings, and its construction involved the demolition of garages.
Therefore, the residents of Zapadny Biryulyovo unanimously voted against, and now the tram from the Prazhskaya metro station will enter the area, cross along the very shortcut it does not go deep into the area at all and will go to Biryulyovo Vostochnoye, whose residents just supported the construction. About it .

Now the turn has come to a public discussion of the second phase of the construction of the tram - a section of the line that will run along Vostochny Biryulyovo. Again, the Master Plan offers a bad layout that you need to try to recapture. What's wrong with it:

  1. The line runs along the outskirts of the district, and not along the main street, which means that a significant part of the residential areas and infrastructure facilities - shops, clinics - remained on the sidelines. It will be inconvenient to ride a tram inside the district (and now it is 32 thousand passengers a day), and to travel to the Prazhskaya metro station, you will still need to take something to a stop or walk for a long time. A new developing microdistrict in Zagorye does not receive a tram.

  2. On Elevatornaya Street, a fork in the road is arranged, which means that along each line after the fork goes less trams, and the intervals of movement are increasing.

  3. As many as 8 sharp turns of the line have been designed on the route, on which the tram will slow down, 2 of them are designed on flyovers, which is unlikely to reach the declared average speed 28 km/h

  4. The line runs along the side of the road, which means it has many intersections with exits from yards and secondary streets, which makes the tram slow down and increase the likelihood of an accident.

  5. It will be impossible to extend the line from Biryulyovo East towards Tsaritsyno.

In East Biryulyovo along western border the railroad provides high-speed transport, and a dedicated line for buses operates along the eastern one. The main high-speed transport does not go along the central Biryulevskaya street. Proper tram tracing will be able to fix this and carry to the metro those who now either drive slowly or are forced to transfer to high-speed transport.

What needs to be done so that a good tram will appear in Biryulyovo, which will be available to 90% of the population? Lay a line through the center of the district, that is, along Biryulevskaya and then Zagoryevskaya streets, and not make a branching, but continue the route.

Why is it better?

  1. Coverage by high-speed transport of those residents to whom it is not currently available. The tram will be able to serve 55,000 passengers every day. In the version of the Master Plan, the passenger traffic of the tram is 30 thousand passengers.

  2. Rush hour interval is 5 minutes. With an existing trace, the interval is from 6 to 12 minutes, depending on the branch.

  3. Due to the straightness, a high speed of movement is provided - up to 22 km / h. What the General Plan offers will not allow more than 18 km / h.

  4. Savings on the production of trains: with a straight line without forks, 18 trains will suffice, and in existing version they need 22.

  5. Fewer intersections with other routes, which means stability and reliability.

  6. The tram line will not duplicate the high-speed bus line, as the General Plan project suggests.

  7. There will be no need to build overpasses!

  8. Felling of trees will be required only in the widening zones near the stops. In the version of the General Plan, it is required to cut down more than 17 hectares of plantings.

  9. In such a route, the tram can be easily extended to Tsaritsyno or Kantemirovskaya in order to serve the existing passenger traffic.

This is what it looks like on the diagram.

There was only one rational explanation for such a curvature of the high-speed tram line - the General Plan proposes to carry residents of Lebedyanskaya Street to the Biryulyovo-Tovarnaya railway station. But it is worth noting that the tram is the main mode of transport, it must go in the direction of maximum passenger traffic and provide high speed.
Those residents who should feel better will be able to get to the other Biryulyovo-Passazhrskaya railway station by bus, and it will be faster than by tram to Tovarnaya. And besides, by railway, people, as a rule, go to the nearest metro, i.e. to the same gray branch, to which the tram will take them anyway.

There are no more rational explanations.

Public hearings on this project are scheduled for May 12 at 19:00, the meeting will be held at school No. 935 at the address: Lipetskaya Street, Building 15, Building 2. Come to the hearings, vote for the tram, demand a change in the project and tell your friends who live in Biryulyovo, about this story.

The Moscow authorities decided not to argue with local residents and go to meet them. Instead of Biryulyovo-Zapadnoye, the tram is supposed to go to Biryulyovo-Vostochnoye. I wonder what the residents of this area will say at the new public hearings?

The trace that the "Westerners" hacked to death:

From now on, the tram will only call at the depot in the western Biryulyovo. The main tram line, along which route traffic will be carried out, will go in a straight line, cross Paveletsky direction MZD on a separate overpass and end at Elevatornaya Street.

Let's study the proposed scheme of trams along Biryulyovo Vostochny. If you look closely, it turns out that most of the tram line bypasses residential areas along the edge of the development. This means that only a small percentage of the region's population will be able to use the new mode of transport. It will not be in demand enough, and therefore less effective.

It also seems unreasonable to have the line fork into one small stub with one stop. As a result, in each of the directions, the frequency of wagon traffic will not be very high, which will further reduce the attractiveness of the tram. It can also be seen that tram stops often coincide with the existing stops of other types of high-speed transport: the railway and the express bus running along Lipetskaya Street.

The transport accessibility of Biryulyovo-Vostochnoye is no better than its western counterpart. Any new transport infrastructure is necessary and will be required. Especially if you pay attention that the tram line in this case will give a new stable chord connection between southern regions cities.

Moreover, a huge high-rise residential area Zagorye has recently grown on Mikhnevskaya Street. It is, in fact, the whole city.

Now it is deprived of normal transport services, but if a tram line is laid near it, the situation will improve much. There is only one problem, the proposed tracing of the line will pass not only by this microdistrict, but also by many other houses.

Does this mean that there is no need for a tram in Vostochny Biryulyovo?
Of course not, a tram is needed there, it just needs to be correctly laid in the area.

An alternative trace looks like this:

The first thing to do is to remove the unnecessary branching of the line, and build a continuation from the projected dead-end terminal on Elevatornaya Street. This will reduce the intervals of movement on the line, eliminate the need to build an additional exit from the overpass, and refuse the need to purchase two-way tram cars (since the terminal at Elevators is supposed to be a “dead-end type” without a return ring).

Further, tracing through the entire district is carried out along Biryulevskaya street (the head of the district street). There is, however, a discussion about the need for a tram stop at one of railway stations. Opinions within the project differ. Further, the line should be laid along Zagoryevskaya Street and finished in the Zagorye microdistrict.

What are the advantages of our option:
1. This will increase the stability of the work and shorten the intervals.
2. Reduced duplication of other existing ground transport routes.
3. Significantly increased coverage of the area and the proportion of residents.
4. Reducing the cost of line construction, due to the need to build a smaller number of overpasses (or even completely abandoned them).

How to achieve this?
Gotta come to public hearings and demand a change in the routing with the laying of a line along Biryulevskaya Street. By the way, tram activists are already agitating for a similar variant of tracing. Public hearings will be held on May 12, 2015 at the premises secondary school No. 935 at the address: Lipetskaya street, house 15, building 2 at 19.00.
