How will the southern rocade go. Construction project of the South-East Expressway

The traffic situation in the south of Moscow may improve as early as 2016 - new chord should link the western, southern and southeastern districts of the capital. Expected that Southern rocade will significantly reduce the load not only on outbound highways (for example, Varshavskoye Highway), but also on the Moscow Ring Road and the Third Transport Ring. detailed plans on the construction of a new highway with MOSLENTA specialists of the capital's complex of urban planning policy shared.

How is the project intended

Together with the North-Western and North-Eastern chords under construction, the Southern Rocade will become part of a kind of Fourth Ring Road, which will connect the peripheral areas of the capital. In the west, the railway line originates at the intersection of Rublevsky highway and the Moscow Ring Road and passes through the entire southern part cities - through the Aminevskoe highway, Obruchev and Lobachevsky streets, Balaklavsky prospect and Borisovskie Prudy street to the southeast intersection with the Moscow Ring Road.

Rokada will cross Mozhayskoe highway, Kutuzovsky, Michurinsky, Leninsky, Sevastopolsky avenues, Varshavskoye and Kashirskoe highway, Vernadsky, Andropov and Proletarsky avenues, as well as Profsoyuznaya street.

Experts of the capital's complex of urban planning policy expect that the rocade will become southern understudy MKAD and TTK. This will reduce the load on the ring roads and on the outbound highways crossing them.

It is expected that the Southern Railway will help relieve the Varshavskoye and Kashirskoye highways and Proletarian Avenue.

What's already done

At present, work has already been completed on the southwestern section of the highway (from Rublevsky highway to the beginning Balaklavsky prospect). This site also existed before: roads were reconstructed on it and several streets were combined into a single roadway. Seven new underground and surface pedestrian crossings appeared in those places where traffic was previously regulated by traffic lights and people crossed the road along a zebra. Additional lanes have been added at intersections.

The tender to determine the contractor who will take over the work on the section from Balaklavsky to Proletarsky Prospekt ended on September 8. The desire to participate in the tender was expressed by only one contractor - the Moscow Engineering and Construction Company, which offered to perform work for 5 billion 19 million rubles. As MOSLENTA was told in the press service of the tender committee of the capital, the mentioned amount is 76 million rubles less than the city planned to spend.

Work on this section involves the construction of a multi-level interchange at the intersection of Varshavskoye Highway and Balaklavsky Prospekt (three traffic lanes in each direction). It will include a 600-meter tunnel under the highway, two U-turns and side passages for passing turning public transport flows, as well as a 450-meter overpass.

In 2013, this section was already reconstructed, replacing the left turn from Varshavskoye Highway to Balaklavsky Prospekt with an understudy maneuver when driving from the region. The same change occurred at the intersection of the highway and Chernomorsky Boulevard. It has become easier to drive to the center, but the life of those who go to the avenue has become more difficult due to serious traffic jams. The construction of an overpass here promises to unload the site, as it has already happened at the intersection of Varshavskoye Highway with Krasny Mayak Street.

The construction of this section will facilitate route planning for residents of the Moskvorechye-Saburovo, Nagorny, Tsaritsyno and Chertanovo Severnoye districts, from where it was previously possible to get to Varshavskoye Highway only through the Moscow Ring Road or the Third Ring Road, thus making a big detour. As the residents of the South Administrative District themselves note, the Paveletskaya railway, the Moskva River and numerous parks actually divide the district into parts, so getting from one to the other by car is possible only in a roundabout way.

Rocade will pass over railroad tracks Paveletsky direction, where an overpass will be built, as well as a bridge over the Chertanovka River. Then the new highway will connect the Warsaw and Kashirskoye highways.

The total length of the new section of the highway will be 6.5 kilometers. Construction should begin in October and be completed no later than a year and a half later.

The last section of the Southern Rokada will be built in 2018. The design of the route included in it and three reconstructed interchanges on the ring road is already underway, Marat Khusnullin, deputy mayor of Moscow for urban planning and construction, told reporters.
What will be the understudy of the Third Transport Ring and the Moscow Ring Road, the correspondent of the Moscow 24 portal figured it out.

From the Kashirskoye Highway, the Southern Rocade will pass along the street Borisov Ponds, will reach Kapotnya street and exit to Upper Fields street. The highway will be brought to the Moscow Ring Road in the area of the Sadovod market and the Belaya Dacha shopping center along the renovated Verkhnie Polya Street.

Existing clover denouement at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road and Upper Fields, it is unlikely to cope with the flow of traffic that will go along the South Rocade from west to southeast, so a radical reconstruction awaits the denouement. It is planned to build a tunnel under Verkhnie Polya Street, and a turnaround overpass and overpasses-congresses on the Moscow Ring Road.

Additional exits from the Moscow Ring Road will be built to the Sadovod market and shopping center"White Dacha". The total length of the overpasses will be 2.5 kilometers. A total of 14 kilometers of roads will be reconstructed. After the upgrade, the interchange should increase throughput by 25-30%.

The Southern Rocade is a new highway in Moscow with a length of more than 40 kilometers. It originates in the west at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road and Rublevsky Highway and ends in the southeast at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road and Verkhnie Polya Street. The highway is being built in several phases.

From Proletarsky Prospekt to Kashirka

In the new year, the construction of the penultimate section from Proletarsky Prospekt to Kashirskoye Highway will also begin. The southern railway will go along Kantemirovskaya street and will reach the intersection with Kaspiyskaya street. On a two-kilometer stretch, a road will be laid and an overpass will be erected.

Shosseynaya Street, located on the opposite bank of the Moskva River, will be connected to Kaspiyskaya Street by a bridge and a new road. An automobile bridge will be built along the existing railway bridge, and the road will be brought to Kashirskoye Highway, connecting it with Kaspiyskaya Street under the highway.

The length of the new section will be almost three kilometers. In total, at this stage, it is planned to build more than eight kilometers of roads, including overpasses on the approach to the bridge 1.97 kilometers long, six overpasses of the exit from Kashirskoye Highway to Kaspiyskaya Street and exits from Donetskskaya Street.

According to Marat Khusnullin, the planned sections of the Southern Rokada are planned to be built in 2019-2020.

New road from Varshavka to Proletarsky Prospekt

The second stage of the Southern Rokada - from Balaklavsky Prospekt at the intersection with Varshavskoye Highway to Proletarsky Prospekt - is already under construction. Builders are laying a six-lane road along the planned driveways.

The highway will cross Paveletsky direction Moscow railway, the Chertanovka River, then 1st Kotlyakovsky Proezd and will join Proletarsky Prospekt. From Kotlyakovskaya Street and Bekhterev Street to the Southern Rocade, congresses will be built, and 1st Kotlyakovsky Lane and Proletarsky Prospekt at the intersection with the Rokada will be reconstructed.

According to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Marat Khusnullin, the roads in this section are practically built. On the next year the builders will be left with the most difficult stage - the construction of an overpass across the Paveletsky direction of the Moscow railway. It will take them approximately a year to build a six-lane highway under the railway tracks. Motorists will be able to move from Kashirka to Varshavka without stopping at the Third Transport Ring and the Moscow Ring Road in the second half of next year.

The new section will redistribute traffic flows and unload Proletarsky Prospekt, Kashirskoye and Varshavskoye highways. In fact, it will become an understudy of the Moscow Ring Road in the south of Moscow.

By the way, the Southern Rokada crossed the Varshavskoye Highway already this year. On City Day, traffic was opened along the flyover from Balaklavsky Prospekt through Varshavka. The six-lane overpass, 845 meters long, was built in two years, work began in September 2015.

From west to south along the rocade

Motorists are already using the first section of the Southern Rokada from Rublevsky Highway at the intersection with the Moscow Ring Road and up to the intersection of Balaklavsky Prospekt with Varshavskoye Highway.

It runs along Rublevsky highway, Aminevsky highway, Lobachevsky street, Michurinsky prospect, Vernadsky prospect, Leninsky prospect, Obruchev street, Balaklavsky prospect and ends at the junction of Balaklavsky prospect with Varshavskoye highway.

Highway connects Kutuzov Avenue with Michurinsky, Vernadsky Avenue with Leninsky, and Profsoyuznaya Street with Sevastopolsky Avenue.

During the reconstruction, 19.7 kilometers of roads were built here, two overpasses - at the intersection of Michurinsky Prospekt with Lobachevsky Street and at the intersection of Rublevsky Highway with Marshal Timoshenko Street and Autumn Boulevard.

On two sections of the first stage of the rocade, a dedicated lane was made for public transport: from Mozhayskoye Highway to Vernadsky Avenue and from Leninsky Prospekt to Chertanovskaya street. We built 84 driving "pockets" for stops. Thanks to the "pockets" public transport does not interfere with the general flow of transport. Pedestrians can cross the highway through seven underground pedestrian crossings and one ground.

At the intersection of Aminevskoye Highway and Generala Dorokhov Street, the Southern Rocade will meet with the North-Western Chord. The transport interchange will be ready soon. The road workers laid asphalt, installed barrier fences, and completed monolithic concrete work.

All work will be completed by the end of the year and traffic will open. The interchange at the intersection of Aminyevka and General Dorokhov Street will allow dividing traffic flows, relieve the Aminyevskoye Highway, significantly increase traffic capacity and improve the traffic situation in the surrounding areas.

Since the beginning of June, traffic has been opened on the new Krylatsky Bridge, which is part of the Southern Section of the North-Western Chord in the section from the Leningrad Highway with access to Nizhniye Mnevniki Street - Krylatskaya Street.

To date, the construction of the SZH, which will significantly improve the conditions traffic in the northern and western regions of the capital, goes full move. This is an infrastructural megaproject, comparable in scale to the construction of the Third Ring Road. For information: total length The road network within the framework of the construction of the Northern Protection Zone is 79 km, the length of the Third Ring Road is 35.1 km. That is, only one Northwest Chord(with the whole cascade under construction road network) is twice as long as the Third Ring Road.

1. The construction of this section will improve the transport situation in ZAO and SZAO, the districts of Khoroshevo-Mnevniki, Krylatskoye, Kuntsevo, Filevsky Park and increase the capacity of vehicles up to 30% on the road network of these areas. In addition to the new Krylatsky bridge, a new girder bridge is being built through lock No. Moscow.

2. The construction of the North-Western Expressway will provide an additional trunk connection between the districts, thereby expanding the possibilities of access on the ground public transport to four existing metro lines: Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya, Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya, Zamoskvoretskaya, Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya and, in the future, to the Bolshaya circle line. In addition, an alternative route for motorists will be created, which will provide a connection between the North-East Administrative District, the Northern Administrative District, the North-West Administrative District and the Closed Joint-Stock Company.

3. "Construction of the North-Western Chord from Dmitrovskoe highway to Michurinsky Prospekt, mostly completed, there are a few objects left. Today we are launching one of these objects. This is the Krylatsky Bridge, which will improve the throughput of this section. In general, the North-Western Expressway is 80 kilometers of roads,” said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

4. The length of the new Krylatsky bridge is 282 meters. It began to be built in December 2016 from the downstream side of the existing bridge parallel to it, at a distance between spans of 1.3 m (in the area of support No. 4, the dimension narrows to 0.65 m).

5. The first, currently existing, Krylatsky bridge was built in 1984 according to the project of B. A. Gorozhanin by the team of Mostootryad No. 4.

6. The main reconstruction provides for the expansion of Nizhniye Mnevniki Street from two to three traffic lanes in each direction. Estimated flow rate road transport 60-80 km/h.

7. It remains to wait for the completion of the construction of the bridge through the gateway and the completion of the reconstruction of Nizhniye Mnevniki Street.

8. The Northwest Chord is a new expressway that will pass through the northern and western regions Moscow: from Dmitrovsky to Skolkovo highway and further to Michurinsky prospect. It will connect major highways: Michurinsky Prospekt, Skolkovskoye, Mozhayskoye, Rublevskoye, Zvenigorodskoye, Volokolamskoye, Leningradskoye and Dmitrovskoye Highways.

In the area of Dmitrovskoye Highway, it will be possible to conveniently drive from the North-West to the North-Eastern Chord - either towards Sheremetyevo Airport, or towards Yaroslavl highway. It will also reduce (by about 15 percent) the traffic load on a number of central streets, the Third Transport Ring, the Moscow Ring Road and adjacent sections of outbound highways. And the mileage of cars when traveling between neighboring areas will be reduced by about ten percent.

Next news

The Southern Rocade is at the final stage of construction. Now they are still driving around it, but soon it will be possible to drive right along it, the correspondent of the 360 TV channel reports.

The readiness of a large-scale facility is 90%, the main work on the Varshavskoye highway has been completed, and only the adapter (as the road builders call it) is missing, which will go towards Moscow.

very complex and important object. It is quite inconvenient today for passenger traffic and for transport. As for public, personal and cargo, it is very difficult, cramped conditions to maintain throughput

— Pyotr Aksenov, First Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Construction.

Drivers treat small traffic jams with understanding: now you have to stand a little, but then you can drive without traffic jams. On the Southern Rocade, three lanes in each direction - west, southeast and east of the capital - will merge into a detour of the Moscow Ring Road.

Continuation of the Southern Rokada on southern directions MKAD, in particular, at the Besedinskaya interchange, at the interchange with Lipetskaya street, the intersection with Verkhniye Polya street, a section of the South Rokada through Kantemirovskaya - will already lead to the highway connecting the west and southeast and east of the city, bypassing the Moscow Ring Road

— Pyotr Aksenov, First Deputy Head of the Moscow Construction Department.

Varshavskoye and Kashirskoye highways will be connected, thereby unloading both their traffic flows and Proletarsky Prospekt. Traffic on the southern section of the road is planned to open in September. But then the work will continue - the second stage is next, which involves the replacement of the railway track. According to Petr Aksenov, construction is planned to continue in 2018-2020.

In addition, a large-scale reconstruction will affect the section from Kantemirovskaya Street to Kaspiyskaya, Donetskskaya Street, Upper Fields, and an overpass will also appear on the Moskva River on Shosseinaya Street. The reconstruction of Baltiyskaya Street is planned, which will lead to Lipetskaya and, thus, a junction through Upper Fields and Lipetskaya will appear on the Moscow Ring Road.

The cost of the first stage of laying the overpass is 5 billion rubles, the second stage is 1.7 billion rubles. Travel along the South Rocade will be free, but a trip along Northeast chord will have to pay.

Not so long ago we wrote about laying plans. Today, some details have become known from Domodedovo Trans Development. The company submitted for consideration to the Ministry of Transport of Russia a project to create an intermunicipal network of high-speed passenger transport (MSPT) "Southern Chord" - a chord connection of the southeastern, southern and southwestern parts of the Moscow Region with radial exits to the corresponding zones of Moscow. It is planned to create four branches within the framework of the South Chord MSFT light rail.

As Anna Krasnova, Development Director of Domodedovo Trans Development, along the chord direction Ramenskoye - Domodedovo - Shcherbinka - Butovo - Solntsevo - Skolkovo with a call to Domodedovo Airport and Vnukovo Airport, the street and road network is now poorly developed, there are practically no high-speed car roads.
Relying on the expert opinions of colleagues from urban planning institutes, as well as relying on their own calculations, Domodedovo Trans Development came to the conclusion that the lines of the South Chord MSSPT will create sustainable system intermunicipal transport communications and give impetus to the further socio-economic development of these territories. Especially taking into account the planned expansion of Moscow in a southwestern direction, the presence of two large air hubs: Vnukovo and Domodedovo, and perspective development municipalities Moscow region.

The choice of light rail is due to economic calculations. Expert data show that the use of light rail is optimal in transport corridors with passenger traffic from 4 to 30 thousand passengers per hour - this is the first.
The cost of building a kilometer of a light rail line is 3–8 times lower than the cost of building a kilometer of a metro line. The quality of transportation - speed, reliability, direct communication - remains at the same level - this is the second.
In addition, the possibility of energy recovery significantly optimizes the cost of energy supply - this is the third.
Today, no mode of transport can be compared with a modern tram: it is the quietest and most environmentally friendly mode of transport, has modern means security, comfort and ability to integrate into the urban landscape.

We contacted the PR department of the company and requested detailed diagram project.

The scheme sent to us shows that the "South Chord" will pass along southern border city of Domodedovo. Residents of the city will be able to get to the airport, Klimovsk and other settlements. So far, these are plans calculated until 2020, but given the pace of development of the airport and the increase in the area of the capital, the plans may well be implemented.
