The general plan of the road m5 ural. Novoryazanskoye highway will be expanded towards the region

The editors of the Portal of the Roads of Russia

This year on the federal highway M-5 "Ural" (Moscow - Ryazan - Penza - Samara - Ufa - Chelyabinsk) in Ryazan region large-scale works are planned - reconstruction, overhaul and repair. Also, work will unfold on bridges and overpasses. In this regard, drivers will have to prepare for the fact that due to speed limits and reverse traffic, there will be traffic jams on many sections of the route. DorInfo found out where drivers will have to lose time.

Overhaul

Major renovation in 2016 year will pass near the village of Kuchasyevo in the section from 337 km to 350 km of the road (stage 1), as well as on bridges: across the Pilis River (161.6 km), through Vozha (166.9 km) and Shacha (352 km km). Work at all four sites has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of September.

On the first two bridges, traffic is carried out in a reverse mode along two lanes, on the last one there is no traffic - vehicles are allowed through a temporary bypass road around the bridge, and transit traffic is allowed to bypass Shatsk. Reverse traffic operates on a 13-kilometer section near Kusachevo. At all areas of overhaul (as well as repair) a special speed mode- 40 km / h.

In addition, a major overhaul is planned on the bridge over the Vorsha (310 km). The contractor and the timing of the work will be known after the auction and the conclusion of the state contract.

Repair

The repair of the road has already begun in the sections: 221.9 - 241 km (reverse direction) in the village. Kamenka, 178 - 181.2 km, 184.6 - 187 km, 189.3 - 198.6 km, 279.5 - 286 km, 375 - 384 km. Reverse traffic is organized in these sections until the end of August.

By the way, the 189th km is one of the priorities for the road builders of the region. In the future, in the area of this section - the construction of a junction to unload traffic near the oil refinery and the Kuibyshev highway. As DorInfo was informed in the press service of FKU Povolzhupravtodor, the object will be traded by the end of this year. Currently, public hearings are underway, and at the end of July it is planned to hold an auction and conclude a state contract with a contractor. According to the planned schedule, the commissioning of the facility is scheduled for 2018.

In addition, this year, after the conclusion of the state contract, the road workers will begin work on the overpass across the Yuzhny Promuzel street at 193.6 km.

Reconstruction

Specialists will continue the reconstruction of the road this year in two sections: 241 - 245.4 km, 248.1 - 258.3 km. At the first facility when moving from Moscow (along right side) restrictions for transport are not introduced, but in reverse direction traffic is closed at 800 meters. The traffic is carried out according to bypass road(by broadening). Speed - 50 km / h. The restrictions will remain in effect until September next year.

There are no traffic restrictions on the section from km 248.1 to km 258.3. The object will be ready for delivery at the end of this year.

PIRs have begun

We add that this year also began design and survey work (PIR) on two objects that require overhaul. These are an overpass across the Ryazan-Samara railway at km 190 and a culvert at km 411 of the M-5 Ural highway.

In total, in the Ryazan region this year, the scope of work on federal highways (M-5 Ural, R-132 Kaluga-Ryazan and M-6 Kaspiy) for the construction, reconstruction, repair, overhaul will be 67.684 km and 298, 16 linear meters on artificial structures.

connecting the Urals with Western part The country's M-5 highway is often called the "road of death." Terrible accidents, overturned trucks, a dangerous section of the road in the Zlatoust area - all this is not in the best way affected the image component of the region. Meanwhile, experts believe that the track, in the presence of serious financial investments from the federation, can be turned into a modern autobahn. This will give impetus to the development of several regions at once. Dmitry Chudinovskikh, a member of the Public Chamber of Chelyabinsk, discusses the prospects for the M-5:

“With the M-5 theme, the region must get up and go down until this track becomes a real Road. Dear, connecting Southern Urals with the world. It is this topic that is the most important for the inhabitants of the Southern Urals, and not Ukraine, Syria and Trump. When the normal M-5 appears, Chelyabinsk region become a qualitatively different region. But the M-5 is needed to Moscow, and not to the border with Bashkiria. And this is already a project that unites Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Samara, Penza and Ryazan in a competitive battle with the cities of M-7.

The main issue of the M-5 highway is connected with the transport component. Long time in our country, in Soviet times, key function carried out Railway, the main share of cargo was transported along it, and automobile transport was of secondary importance. In modern times, the volume of traffic began to shift towards highways. The roads became two-lane. Of course, the Ural Range is a difficult place, significant investments are needed in the construction of roads. But due to the fact that railway transportation is expensive and takes a lot of time, the business, in addition to the transportation of coal and oil products, has gone to the roads.

In fact, the development of the Urals and Siberia, a number of regions is tied to the modernization of the M-5 highway, its continuation towards Siberia. If we had a modern two-lane highway in one direction, this would give a sharp impetus to the development of the regions. Businesses would be able to move goods more actively with less risk, I think their cost would go down.

I wonder why this will not become a federal project? Because it is much more significant than various championships?! We remember famous expression: "The Urals is the supporting edge of the state" and "Russia will grow with Siberia." I do not understand why the funds of the state, which it has on federal level, are not directed to objects such as M-5. It would become a locomotive and would solve a lot of problems. This would give a significant influx of economic activity.

Will good road- will be new interesting projects. What we are now trying to launch with other forces through incubators will happen by itself. When the road appears, large investors will come who will be interested in locating serious economic objects. Investments in the M-5 will certainly pay off. Partially the route has been put in order up to Chebarkul, there are wide sections near Miass. But the fact is that these are only segments, and the track should turn into a modern autobahn: at least two lanes in one direction. This is object #1. In my opinion, if we talk about revitalizing the region's economy, we don't need to invent anything, we need to invest in M-5."

How to stretch the M-5 Ural in Oktyabrsky and Ostrovets July 20th, 2015

The section of the Novoryazanskoye Highway from the confluence with the Ryazanskoye Highway to the Moskva River in Zaozerye is one of the most traffic jams in the Moscow Region. In the morning and evening rush hour, a journey of ten kilometers takes best case 50-60 minutes. And in the "country" hours there are traffic jams for 2-3 hours or more.

I have been asked to take over this place dozens of times. stopped decision on the construction of a bypass for Oktyabrsky and Ostrovtsy (from 28 to 37 km), which would allow transit traffic to bypass residential areas and finally put an end to traffic jams in this section. The bypass was even designed by order of FKU "Tsentravtomagistral", you can evaluate the future traffic organization project.

Someday the bypass of Oktyabrsky and Ostrovtsy will go like this.

However, construction was postponed six months ago for financial reasons. Apparently, after all, it is fate for us to do it.

But before prescribing treatment, it was necessary to make a diagnosis. And our “patient” is severely neglected, his disease has been developing for a long time and has metastasized. One thing was immediately clear: improvements at one or two intersections were not enough, the entire ten-kilometer section with its 10 traffic lights needed to be analyzed.

Where did you start
First of all, I opened a brainstorming thread on Roads.ru, asking the members of the forum traveling on the M-5 to post their analysis of the problems and their suggestions. Many responded, I will mark the help int13H, crenlot, abric, ax3, kold777, magistr_tk, RoadMan, Lord_Teo, JuNiK. All collected during brainstorming I laid out the proposals on a summary map, marking all the proposals at the point of each traffic light.

As a result of this work, it became in general terms it is clear which traffic lights create the greatest traffic jams, at what time and why, the main contours of solutions have been outlined.

She helped a lot with the traffic lights of the traffic police of the Moscow region in the person of the 2nd regiment of the traffic police serving the M-5 highway: from there they sent traffic light cards of all 10 traffic lights according to the schemes of phase-by-phase passing ("by phases") and programs for the time of day and days of the week ("timers") .

As analyzed
But all this was not even half the battle. It was necessary to bring all this data into such a form that a single “ diagnostic card”, on the basis of which it is possible to prepare decisions for each intersection. Despite experience in dealing road problems, we have not yet taken on tasks of this magnitude. But after sitting on the task for a couple of days, I still found a way to reduce 20 A4 sheets into a table on 1 screen.

What does this give us? All the problems and inconsistencies of 10 traffic lights immediately become visible, their mutual arrangement, phases, causes of problems. Let's say it became clear why at the intersection 4 shopping center in Oktyabrskoye Highway it is constantly locked. And intersection 6 in Ostrovtsy (Centralnaya Street - Zavodskaya Street) turned out to be the only one where the left turn is made directly from the left lane, and not from the pocket, as a result, only 1 (one!) lane remains to go straight to the region. Traffic lights 7 and 8 are only 230 meters apart and their cycles simply have to be synchronized.

With the power of Excel values bandwidth and phase coefficients are calculated automatically, according to formulas, which greatly simplifies the work, and for straight lanes, I introduced reduction coefficients due to slowing right turns.

The main thing that catches your eye: traffic light modes are configured as God puts on the soul. On one there are 3 programs, on the other 1, on the third 2. And the length of the cycles at different traffic lights at the same time of the day varies from 56 to 250 seconds. There is no difference between "dacha" programs for entry and exit from the city, and so on. Not surprisingly, the estimated throughput of intersections in the forward direction is not only small, but also differs at many nodes by more than 1.5 times! Such places in the right column are marked in orange (2100-2350 cars per hour in the forward direction during rush hour) and red (less than 2100 cars per hour).

Traffic light suggestions
Having a summary diagnostic table with automatically calculated throughput values, it was already possible to work with phase lengths and programs, aligning them. It went easier, though I wouldn't say faster. After a couple of days of work, the “as it should” table took on this form.

For 8 intersections out of 10, it was deemed necessary to make 3 cycle lengths: 120 for off-peak, 150 for average traffic and 190 for peak traffic; at 2 intersections, the cycle length had to be increased to 160-190-250 seconds, since they are nearby and it is necessary to ensure their synchronous operation. Programs of work are proposed somewhere 3, and somewhere 5: the intensity of left turns in the morning and in the evening is different. At intersections 4 and 5 it was necessary to add "exhaust" phases against locking.

Expected results visible on the right in the throughput tables: 6 "red" and 2 "orange" dots turned into 5 orange. In order to increase the capacity of places in the orange zone, either re-marking (2 points at intersection No. 6), or local measures (right-turn pockets, transitional speed lanes), or the cancellation of some phases and directions will be required. However, real situation may turn out to be better, since I did not take into account the "turn" flows to the exit, and they are quite significant.

Markup Suggestions
For two nodes out of 10, we did not limit ourselves to traffic lights alone. There you can increase both security and throughput with a simple repartition!

The worst node in terms of throughput is No. 6 (Central - Factory) in Ostrovets. Due to the displacement of the axis, a left-handed pocket can be gained.

Now

Necessary

Phase travel

And this is the most emergency-dangerous node - the confluence of Novoryazanskoye and Staroryazanskoye highways.

3 lanes per area here cleverly turn into 2 right before the traffic lights. Moreover, contrary to logic, it ends with the left lane, and not the right one: it is not surprising that they constantly violate and get into an accident here. In the direction of Moscow, everything is also stupid: 2 lanes turn into 3 immediately after the intersection, preventing you from safely leaving the Ryazan highway towards Moscow.

What is most interesting, the third lane into the region becomes unnecessary from the Lytkarinsky interchange itself. Because up to 30% of the flow goes from Novoryazanskoye to the south and north, that is, in fact, 1 lane out of 3!

And there are no junctions on the section from the interchange to the intersection. It turns out that the flow of 2 lanes after the junction is uselessly “smeared” into 3 lanes ... so that after a kilometer before the intersection it will again be built into 2.

The solution suggests itself: either make the right lane from the Lytkarinsky interchange to the confluence with the Ryazansky one selected or close it.

And at the crossroads at the confluence, everything is neatly canalized.

What's next?
The 2nd regiment of the traffic police of the traffic police of the Moscow region has already approved our proposals. In FKU "Tsentravtomagistral" preliminary also do not object, now we are waiting for their decision on implementation. It is important to do all this in a complex this year, we will insist on this.

Will Novoryazanskoye Highway get rid of traffic jams? Of course not. But we can say with confidence that the traffic parameters will improve: the speed of travel will increase, the interval for observing traffic jams and their length will be reduced. This will make it possible to somehow put everything in order here in anticipation of the construction of the Oktyabrsky and Ostrovtsy bypass.

When all this is done, I will definitely write about it, I will ask you feedback.

By the way, there will soon be news from FKU Tsentravtomagistral on Ilyinsky Highway. And the news is good: our proposals have been generally accepted and are already being implemented. But more on that next time.

The south-east of the Moscow region has recently been an outsider - industrial zones, dense buildings, federal highway"Ural", always loaded and dangerous. Now the reconstruction of Novoryazanskoye highway and the construction of the metro have been completed big changes.

Infographics: Alexey Stepikin

In September 2016, Novoryazanskoye Highway began to move faster - the long-awaited flyover was built on Volgogradsky Prospekt, st. Lyublinskaya and Ostapovsky passage, driving pockets appeared for public transport. As a result, the speed of movement along Volgogradsky Prospekt increased by 25-30% and relieved traffic flow well on Novoryazanka. Not only residents of the city of Lyubertsy began to get to the capital faster, but also residents of the districts of Brateevo, Maryino, Lyublino, Tekstilshchiki, Kuzminki, Kapotnya and Zhulebino.

The disadvantage is the lack of intercepting parking (many people have to leave their cars in the yards, which annoys both residents and motorists from the suburbs). However, a large interchange node on the Ryazan highway and new metro stations in the Novoryazanka area - this will simplify the situation.

What are they doing? The construction of the Kotelniki metro station is underway.

A branch of the light metro is being designed, which should go into the depths of the Moscow region.

Preparations are underway for the implementation of the project for the reconstruction of Novoryazanskoye Highway, the main objects of reconstruction are the flyover and the elevated pedestrian bridge.

Tomorrow (2017 - 2018)

They promise to open a junction at the intersection of the Lytkarinsky highway and the M-5 Ural highway in the urban district of Lyubertsy. It should link the M-5 Ural road, Lytkarinskoye highway and the section of the planned Lytkarino - Tomilino - Kraskovo - Zheleznodorozhny regional highway, as well as the territories of the urban districts of Lytkarino, Lyubertsy and Ramensky district. The interchange will significantly expand and unload the Novoryazanskoye highway, the federal road M-5 "Ural" and will provide a hassle-free exit from Lytkarino. Also, thanks to it, congestion in the area of the Harvest stop will decrease. An overpass with 3 traffic lanes in each direction will be built on Novoryazanskoye Highway. Novoryazanskoe highway will be expanded to 5 lanes in each direction, lanes for public transport and side lanes with traffic lights on both sides of the road will be equipped. To ensure traffic safety, it is necessary to build an elevated pedestrian bridge and install fences.

Day after tomorrow (until 2020)

In the next three years, Novoryazanskoye highway will become exemplary up to about 25 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road. Further, it is planned to begin construction of several backup roads, in particular, bypassing Oktyabrsky and Ostrovtsy, in order to save these areas from freight transport. Next - to continue the construction of the Novoryazanskoe highway bypassing Bronnitsy to the Urals. Now Novoryazanskoye Highway, from about 50 to 115 kilometers, remains one of the most dangerous in the region: there is no median, and the speeds and flows of freight transport are extremely high, so head-on collisions often occur on the road. The route is most unsafe from Bronnitsy to Kolomna. It is not yet known when this section will be reconstructed.
