The entrance examination in literature is conducted in writing and includes 3 types of tasks:

1. Brief answer to questions (no more than 2-3 sentences), for example: name the author, work, indicate the genre, literary gender, belonging to a literary movement, etc.).

2. Test, suggesting a choice of answers.

3. A full detailed answer to 1 question (at least 150 words), for example: How are the Russian families of Bolkonsky and Rostov depicted in Leo Tolstoy's novel "War and Peace"? How do I represent inner world lyrical hero A. A. Blok? How is the conflict of generations revealed in modern prose?

All tasks are given 3 astronomical hours (180 minutes).

Information on the history and theory of literature included in the test material, as well as authors and works, are determined by the Standard of secondary (complete) approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation general education in Literature, including the Mandatory minimum content of secondary (complete) general education in literature
