Volokolamsk highway is paralyzed due to the arrangement of the small ring of the Moscow Railway. Sobyanin opened the Volokolamsk overpass

In the north-west of Moscow, after reconstruction, the Volokolamsk overpass was opened. Now it's ten lane. It passes over the railway tracks of the small metropolitan ring. For free movement trains completely replaced all designs. And on the Leningrad highway there was a denouement.

Rain on the road good omen. It is doubly pleasant if this road is new. Drivers have been waiting for the opening of the Volokolamsk overpass for a year and a half, all this time it has been reconstructed. Although, in fact, they erected over the railway tracks of the Moscow Central Ring new overpass, reports "TV Center".

With a loud horn, heavy equipment opens the movement. This is not just a tradition, a real test of strength.

After major repairs, the overpass will last at least half a century. Traffic was not stopped during the work. A so-called temporary overpass was built for cars, which is now part of the main one.

The Volokolamsk overpass is not only technically outdated. Under it, the electric pylons of the Moscow Central Ring simply would not fit. The new one was made higher, almost seven meters. Exactly the same work has already been completed on five more overpasses: Leningradsky, Mozhaysky, Zvenigorodsky, Koptevsky and Bogorodsky. Nothing else interferes with the rapid flight of red swallows. In time with them, cars rush along the overpass. According to the project, the roadway will be expanded here, side passages will be built, and dedicated lanes will be organized. The throughput capacity of the highway will grow by a third. Reach the new stadium Spartacus" or TPU "Volokolamsk" will become easier. The Mayor of Moscow first of all thanks the builders.

"Today we rent two important object. The first object is an overpass on Volokolamka. Even two overpasses - a tram overpass and road overpass, which increased the number of lanes from six to ten. Of course, this will improve the difficult situation, which is on Volokolamka. And the second object is 41 kilometers of the Leningrad highway, an interchange. There have always been serious traffic jams. Crossing Leningradka. Departure from Zelenograd took place at the usual intersection in one plane. A tunnel has now been made, an interchange- said the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin.

But this is the main entrance to Zelenograd. Tunnel construction is a strategic decision. Near the famous Bayonets". The overpass would cover the entire memorial Complex. The tunnel also runs under the Leningradskoye highway and connects Panfilovsky Prospekt with Lyalovsky Highway.

There are additional congresses that will significantly relieve the traffic. Now they are working on new scheme. To get to Zelenograd from the Leningrad highway, you need to go through a tunnel, and then along Panfilovsky Prospekt. Exactly the same road from Zelenograd to the Leningrad highway towards Solnechnogorsk.

So traffic there will also improve. I congratulate the people of Zelenograd on the upcoming City Day and on the object that we handed over. Thanks to the builders!” the mayor stressed.

The interchange at the 41st kilometer of the Leningradskoye Highway made it possible to remove the traffic light and speed up traffic at the intersection of the Leningradskoye Highway and Panfilovsky Prospekt. As part of the project, an 80-meter underground pedestrian crossing with two lanes in each direction was built under the Leningradskoye Highway, and the crossing over Panfilovsky Prospekt was reconstructed. The main roadway of the Leningradskoye Highway was expanded to four lanes in each direction.

In Moscow, intensive construction of transport interchanges and overpasses, overpasses and tunnels continues. They allow the city to solve difficult transport problems, and for motorists and pedestrians to make the movement more comfortable, faster and safer.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin today, September 8, solemnly opened the Volokolamsk overpass to traffic. The reconstruction of Volokolamka will improve its capacity, as well as simplify the access to the stadium.” Spartacus" and transport hub "Volokolamsky". This was stated by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, inspecting the results of construction work.

Today we are commissioning an important facility - an overpass on the Volokolamsk Highway. Two overpasses were built here - a tram and a car, which made it possible to increase the number of traffic lanes from six to ten. . . . . .

Sobyanin noted that, in fact, the program for the reconstruction of overpasses, which was necessary for the organization of passenger traffic along the Moscow Central Ring of the railway, was completed in Moscow. In just 3 years, 6 outdated narrow overpasses were replaced by modern flyovers.

According to Petr Aksenov, deputy head of the Moscow construction department, the new road facilities will significantly increase the capacity on this section of the road - up to 30%. "We made such an analytical assessment taking into account the expansions and contractions of the reversal", - commented Pyotr Aksenov.

In addition to the creation of overpasses, Volokolamsk Highway underwent a comprehensive reconstruction with the expansion of the road section. Repair work touched both the lanes towards Moscow and the lanes towards the region. As a result of the reconstruction, the number of traffic lanes along the overpass increased from six to 10 - five lanes in each direction.

In addition, on September 8, Sergei Sobyanin solemnly opened a new road junction in Zelenograd on the 41st kilometer of the Leningrad Highway near the Monument of Glory " Bayonets".

Sergei Sobyanin opened the Volokolamsk road overpass, passing over the tracks of the Moscow Central Ring. Thus, the program of reconstruction of overpasses, necessary for the organization of passenger traffic along the MCC, has actually been completed.
. . . . . In particular, two new overpasses were built on the Volokolamsk highway at once - for cars and separately for trams.
Construction road overpass is part of the project for the comprehensive reconstruction of Volokolamskoye Highway from Pekhotnaya Street to Leningradskoye Highway, which includes the reconstruction of a tram overpass, as well as two pedestrian underpasses near houses 14 and 26 along Volokolamskoye Highway.
Work on the improvement of the Volokolamsk highway itself continues to the maximum rapidly. Completion is scheduled for December current year. There, the overpass structures have already been completely replaced with an increase in dimensions up to 6.9 meters for the movement of trains along the MCC. . . . . .
In total, 2.6 kilometers of roads will be built within the framework of the project. Dedicated traffic lanes are organized for public transport. The reconstruction of the highway will improve its capacity by 20-25 percent and provide convenient access to the stadium.” Spartacus" and TPU "Volokolamsky". The transport accessibility of the Moscow districts Sokol, Shchukino and Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo will improve.

On September 8, 2016, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin inspected the results of the reconstruction of the Volokolamsk overpass. With today traffic was opened along the Volokolamsk overpass and traffic interchange at 41 km

. . . . .

According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Moscow has actually completed the program for the reconstruction of overpasses, which is necessary for organizing passenger traffic along the MCC. From 2013 to 2016 6 obsolete overpasses were replaced with modern flyovers.

In addition, the Mayor of Moscow congratulated the people of Zelenograd on the upcoming City Day and on the commissioning of a new facility. According to him, the opening of the interchange will improve the transport situation near Zelenograd.

First Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Construction Pyotr Aksenov reported to Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin that thanks to the opening of the Volokolamsk overpass throughput The Volokolamsk Highway will increase by 30%, and dedicated lanes for public transport will increase the speed of traffic.

"According to our estimates, it is 25%, even up to 30%. . . . . .

Work on the reconstruction of the Volokolamsk road overpass, 434 m long, began in January 2015. . . . . .

Work on the construction of a junction at 41 km of Leningradskoye Highway began in October 2014. The project included widening the main section of the Leningradskoye Highway from 2 to 4 lanes in each direction; expansion of Panfilovsky Prospekt up to 3 lanes in each direction and the roadway of Lyalovsky Highway in front of the tunnel up to 2 lanes; organization of congresses road junction; arrangement of side passages along Leningradskoye Highway and a U-turn on Panfilovsky Prospekt to ensure exit from Lyalovsky to Leningradskoye Highway in the direction of Moscow. For the convenience of pedestrians, an underground passage was built across the Leningrad Highway and the passage through Panfilovsky Prospekt was reconstructed. In total, about 7 km of roads were built.

The city authorities note that the reconstruction of the Volokolamsk highway will provide convenient access to the stadium. Spartacus" and TPU "Volokolamsky", will improve the transport accessibility of the Moscow districts Sokol, Shchukino and Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo. Thanks to the construction of a junction at 41 km of Leningradskoye Shosse, traffic became without traffic lights.

In Moscow, after the completion of the reconstruction, the ten-lane Volokolamsk overpass and the road junction at 41 kilometers of the Leningrad Highway were opened for traffic, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said during an inspection of the results of work carried out on these road facilities.

Sergei Sobyanin said that two facilities are being put into operation. One of them was the Volokolamsk overpass, which is divided into tram and car overpasses. The expansion of the number of lanes of this transport facility from six to ten will reduce the load on the Volokolamsk highway and improve the traffic situation in the area of the new overpass.

The second object was a two-level interchange of the "cloverleaf" type, which was built on the 41st kilometer of the Leningrad highway. It will allow you to decide road problems and to reduce congestion at the main entrance from Moscow to Zelenograd from the Leningrad highway. Previously, it was organized as a one-level intersection, which had completely exhausted its capacity by the start of construction.

. . . . .

One of the main construction projects was a tunnel for transport, which runs under the Leningrad Highway and connects Panfilovsky Prospekt with Lyalovsky Highway. Also, as part of the construction of the interchange, work was carried out aimed at updating the road infrastructure in the area and improving the transport situation. . . . . . Side exits from the interchange were also organized, side passages were arranged along the Leningradskoye Highway, and a U-turn was created on Panfilovsky Prospekt. It is necessary for leaving Lyalovsky to Leningradskoe shosse in the direction of Moscow.

Volokolamsk overpass and road junction at 41 km of Leningradskoye Highway opened for traffic , said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

Sobyanin on September 8 opened the ten-lane Volokolamsk overpass after reconstruction. . . . . . Even two overpasses - a tram overpass and an automobile overpass on Volokolamka.

Today, a junction is also open in the region of 41 kilometers of the Leningradskoye Highway. . . . . . Thanks to the builders!” the mayor said.

The capacity of the Volokolamskoye highway will increase by 30% with the opening of the Volokolamskoye overpass, and the interchange at 41 km of the Leningradskoye highway will make it possible to remove the traffic light and speed up traffic at the intersection of the highway and Panfilovsky Prospekt.

. . . . .

. . . . .

Traffic was also launched at the interchange at the entrance to Zelenograd on the 41st km of the Leningrad Highway.

. . . . . He clarified that now the number of lanes on the Volokolamsk overpass has been increased from 6 to 10.

In Zelenograd, a key interchange facility was opened, which was a transport tunnel built under the Leningradskoye Highway and connecting Panfilovsky Prospekt with Lyalovsky Highway. Traffic in this tunnel is organized in two lanes in each direction.

. . . . . During the work, the structures were completely replaced. At the same time, the height of the overpass was increased so that MCC trains could pass freely under it. In addition, as part of the work at the MCC, an overpass was raised near the Volokolamsk Highway, along which trams run.

In total, in preparation for passenger traffic along the MCC, five more overpasses were reconstructed in addition to Volokolamsk: Leningradsky, Mozhaisky, Zvenigorodsky, Koptevsky and Bogorodsky.

The reconstruction of the intersection at km 41 of Leningradskoe shosse was started in October 2014 and included the construction of a two-level interchange with the organization of traffic without traffic lights.

The updated roadway now includes 10 lanes instead of six.
From today in in full a renovated overpass on the Volokolamsk highway was put into operation. The work began two years ago, when the wear rate of the structure was about 50%. As a result, the carriageway was raised higher so that the MCC trains could pass under it without restrictions, and expanded from six to 10 lanes.
In addition, a junction at the entrance to Zelenograd from the side of the Leningrad Highway was also opened today.
“I am sure that it will be an excellent gift for the residents of Zelenograd for the City Day,” Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin quotes Russian newspaper . - Previously, leaving Zelenograd was much more difficult, because the intersection of Panfilovsky Prospekt and Leningradskoye Highway was on the same level. Now a tunnel has been built that allows passing under Leningradka.
Thus, Zelenograd motorists will be able to enter the district without traffic lights.

. . . . . And of course, it will improve the difficult situation that exists on the Volokolamsk Highway. And the second object is a junction at the 41st kilometer of the Leningradskoye Highway," Sobyanin said, noting that the opening of the junction will improve Zelenograd's transport accessibility.

According to the calculations of the authorities, in general, the capacity of the Volokolamsk highway will increase by 25-30%.

The reconstruction of the Volokolamsk road overpass began in January 2015. Its length is 434 m. The number of lanes for cars on the overpass has increased from six to 10 - five in each direction.

Today the Mayor of Moscow was present at the opening of traffic on the Volokolamsk overpass and traffic interchange at km 41. Leningrad highway. . . . . . So, Leningrad, Mozhaisky, Zvenigorodsky, Koptevsky, Bogorodsky (performed in the area of the MCC right of way), and now the Volokolamsky, road and tram overpasses have been reconstructed.

After the reconstruction, the Volokolamsk overpass ceased to be " bottle neck". The opening of the Volokolamsk overpass will increase the throughput on the highway up to 30%.

. . . . .

Also opened today at 41 km. Leningrad highway will improve transport accessibility near Zelenograd. Previously, the main entrance to Zelenograd at km 41 of the Leningradskoe Shosse was organized as a regulated one-level intersection. Now the traffic light has been removed, traffic has accelerated at the intersection of Leningradskoye Highway and Panfilovsky Prospekt. Departure from Zelenograd to Leningradskoe shosse in the direction of Solnechnogorsk is organized in a similar way.

. . . . .

On September 8, traffic was opened along the Volokolamsk overpass over the tracks of the Moscow Central Circle and along the interchange at the entrance to Zelenograd at the 41st kilometer of the Leningradskoye Highway. The number of lanes on the overpass has increased from six to ten, the height of the facility has also increased so that trains can pass freely under it. Interfax ”.
In addition, during the reconstruction, a tram overpass was raised near the Volokolamsk highway. It is expected that the capacity of the highway will increase by 30% with the opening of the Volokolamsk overpass. On September 8, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin took part in the ceremony of launching the working movement along the Volokolamsk automobile overpass, passing over the tracks of the Small Ring of the Moscow Railway, on which regular passenger traffic is planned to open in a few days. The reconstruction of the overpass, which began in January 2015, included a complete replacement of structures and an increase in the height of the spans to 6.9 m. With the commissioning of this facility, the milestone implementation of the project for the comprehensive reconstruction of the Volokolamskoye Highway from Pekhotnaya Street to Leningradskoye Highway.

Giving a comment to media representatives, Sergei Sobyanin said that the Volokolamsk overpass is not the only object transport infrastructure, which is being handed over by builders today.

. . . . . He also recalled that after the launch of the new tunnel, the interchange on the Leningrad Highway should fundamentally improve the traffic situation in the Zelenograd region.

Sergei Sobyanin also clarified that with the commissioning of the Volokolamsk overpass, the program for the reconstruction of overpasses, which is an important integral part a project to launch passenger traffic along the city railway ring (MCC). At the same time, the mayor emphasized that over 3 years, 6 outdated overpasses were replaced by modern wide flyovers.

The information provided by the mayor about the new overpass was supplemented by the first deputy head of the Construction Department Petr Aksenov. He, in particular, said that the expansion of the flyover would increase its throughput by at least a quarter.

The project for the reconstruction of the intersection at the 41st km of Leningradskoe shosse, the implementation of which began in October 2014, provided for the construction of a 2-level traffic interchange of the "cloverleaf" type with the organization of traffic without traffic lights. . . . . .

Two large facility of the capital's road and transport infrastructure opened today, September 9, for motorists in Moscow. This is the Volokolamsk overpass, passing through railways MCC, and interchange on the Leningrad highway. The results of their reconstruction were assessed by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

According to the mayor, the Volokolamsk overpass will greatly alleviate the situation on the highway of the same name. Once it was considered one of the most "cork" places in Moscow. In addition, as Sobyanin noted, average speed traffic will increase due to the opening of the overpass.

As for the interchange at Leningradka, its length is now more than 40 kilometers. Sobyanin also said that the roadway of the highway section was expanded to 4 lanes in each direction.

“Today we are handing over two important objects. The first object is an overpass on Volokolamka. Even two overpasses - a tram overpass and an automobile overpass on Volokolamka, which increased the number of traffic lanes from six to ten. Of course, this will improve the difficult situation that Volokolamka has. And the second object is 41 km of the Leningradskoye Highway, an interchange is being launched there, ”said Sobyanin.

He noted that, in fact, in Moscow, the program for the reconstruction of overpasses, which was necessary for the organization of passenger traffic along the MCC, had been completed. In just 3 years, 6 outdated narrow overpasses were replaced by modern flyovers.

According to the mayor, the opening of the interchange will improve transport accessibility near Zelenograd.

“Now a tunnel has been made, an interchange. So traffic there will also improve. I congratulate the people of Zelenograd on the upcoming City Day and on the object that we handed over. Thanks to the builders!” Sobyanin added.

As Petr Aksenov, First Deputy Head of the Moscow Construction Department, told reporters, the capacity of the Volokolamsk Highway will increase by 30% with the opening of the Volokolamsk Overpass.

“According to our estimates, it is 25%, even up to 30%. We made such an analytical assessment, taking into account the expansions and contractions of the turn,” Aksenov said.

“Now we have completed the reconstruction of the Volokolamsk highway towards Moscow along the entire length, both on the reconstructed sections of the Volokolamsk highway towards the region. We have made dedicated lanes for public transport here on the overpass,” Aksyonov specified.

Work on the reconstruction of the Volokolamsk road overpass began in January 2015. The length of the overpass is 434 m, of which 260.4 m are in retaining walls, the span is 173.6 m. As part of the project, a complete replacement of the overpass structures was carried out with an increase in dimensions to 6, 9 m for the movement of trains along the MCC. As a result of the reconstruction, the number of traffic lanes along the overpass increased from six to 10 - five lanes in each direction.

The junction at km 41 of Leningradskoye Highway will make it possible to remove traffic lights and speed up traffic at the intersection of Leningradskoye Highway and Panfilovsky Prospekt. Within the framework of the project, a tunnel was built under the Leningradskoye Highway with a length of about 80 m with two lanes in each direction, an underground pedestrian crossing, and a reconstruction of the crossing over Panfilovsky Prospekt was carried out. The main roadway of the Leningradskoye Highway was expanded to four lanes in each direction.

What awaits Volokolamka in Krasnogorsk July 7th, 2016

This year, at the suggestion of Probok.net, Mosavtodor is optimizing traffic on the Volokolamsk Highway in Krasnogorsk. As a result, the number of lanes will increase at seven problematic intersections, and traffic will become faster, safer and more convenient.

Why is it necessary? Many people call Krasnogorsk Krasnoprobsk. This offensive name, unfortunately, is justified so far: Volokolamskoye and Ilyinskoye highways have long been unable to cope with the flow of traffic. In addition, there is no way to bypass the Volokolamsk highway: it has no normal "chord" transport links with either Pyatnitsky or Novorizhskoe highway from "small concrete" to Ilyinsky with Penyaginsky.

In 2013-2015, we already helped solve the problem of the busiest junction - the intersection of Ilyinsky, Volokolamskoye and Penyaginskoye highways. Marking and signs, adjusting traffic lights from Volokolamsk then squeezed out everything possible (read -,). Even more was done on Ilyinsky Highway, with markings ( / ) and , and one more is being implemented now.

Now the problem is being solved radically - by building the long-awaited interchange, which will take place in 3 stages (start-up complexes)

The construction of the 1st start-up interchange complex began in 2016, and should be completed in 2018. As part of this PC, the first half of the overpass across the Riga railway with congresses to it, they will straighten the bed of the Banka River.

In the 2nd start-up complex, a second overpass of the main passage through the railway of the Riga direction to Volokolamskoye highway, an overpass from the main passage to Ilyinskoye highway, a bridge across the Banka River will be built.

In the 3rd start-up complex, a U-turn overpass over the Volokolamsk highway opposite the Pavshinsky floodplain and approaches to it will be built.

Video

It would seem that this is the main solution to the problem of traffic jams! But not everything is so simple. If you look closely at the daily traffic map, you will clearly see that the no less problematic junction of the Volokolamsk Highway is the intersection with River Street. And in the evening, the flow is "kept" and all the intersections further in the city - with Mayakovsky Street, people's militia, Karbyshev, Brothers Gorozhankin. Since Volokolamka in the Rechnoy alignment does not release normal traffic towards Ilyinsky in the morning and does not receive it in the evening even now, is it ready to fill the overpass towards Moscow with traffic in the morning and receive the flow from the overpass in the evening? The answer is obvious: of course not. Moreover, during the construction of the overpass, the problem will not be solved: the reconstruction boundary ends at railway crossing before reaching River Street.

How to solve the problem? Surely, many will offer to expand the Volokolamsk highway along its entire length by a couple of lanes or even build an overpass. Such a pleasure would have cost billions of rubles more, would have taken several years ... and would certainly have come across protests from residents dissatisfied with the approach of the road to their homes.

Fortunately, all this is not required. At almost all intersections (except for the intersection with Vilora Trifonova Street), the width of the carriageway allows you to add a redevelopment of the Volokolamsk highway from 4 lanes to 5, as it was already last year! This allows you to bring all left turns into your own pockets, extend some existing pockets, and make the trajectory of movement as convenient as possible. Due to this, those who go straight will not only have 2 rows at their disposal, but will also be able not to change lanes.

This is what the method looks like...

And so it is in life. By the way, this is an intersection on the neighboring Ilyinsky highway

Probok.net, on my assignment, prepared projects for changing road markings and signs at 6 intersections of the Volokolamsk Highway - with Zhukovsky, Mayakovsky, People's Militia, Kirov and Brothers Gorozhankin, Karbyshev and Svetlaya streets.

When is everything implemented? All these activities are approved by Mosavtodor and the traffic police, and should be completed in 2016! At some intersections, the markings will be applied on the new asphalt, which has just been changed, at others they will be demarcated and re-applied.

And what will change at the main, most problematic intersection with River Street? Here, one markup will not be enough. To pull this node, you need to organize a passage in 3 lanes in each direction, and for this you will have to "cut" all the islands of safety and move a couple of traffic light consoles. In addition, a normal accumulation zone will require a slight widening of the roadway in front of the intersection on each side.

Now

Will

The scale of changes and the cost are greater here, the implementation time is, accordingly, longer. But we will ask the GUDH and Mosavtodor to deal with this knot in 2016, because only by clearing the bottleneck will it be possible to obtain a complex effect from all other measures.

That's not all! When all this is implemented, we will check the operation of the traffic lights and try to synchronize their programs for better performance.

Expected effect: after the implementation of these 7 measures, the capacity of the Volokolamsk Highway will increase by approximately 30-40% in each direction. This will not only solve current problems, but also prepare the highway for traffic from the interchange. The effect in the direction of the region will be felt already this year, in the direction of Ilyinsky - after the expansion of the Volokolamsk highway to 3 lanes according to the project.

We have a few more like this complex projects along the roads of the Moscow region, GUDH and Mosavtodor took them to priority implementation. I will try to please you with great news already in 2016, do not switch!
