Lots of things to do but quickly forget. How to manage to do a lot of things - my personal experience

AT modern world everything is there, but there is almost no free time. Therefore, if you want to a short time To manage to do more than you manage to do now, you need to learn only two things: organization and self-discipline. In this article, you'll find 25 top rules to help you get more done in less time.

1. Decide on a goal and focus on the main thing

Without a clear goal, you will constantly wander among the many things that will not only not help you achieve your goal, but rather, on the contrary, will distract from it and take your valuable time.

2. Incentive and motivation

If we like the work, then we do it easily and quickly. Therefore, if you want to do more, find an incentive for yourself in every business. For example, if you finish the report before the end of the working day, then in the evening there will be time for hobbies, communication with family or watching a good movie.

3. Use the 80/20 rule

It doesn't matter how much time you have, what matters is how and what you spend it on. There is a wonderful principle of Pareto, which says that 20% of your efforts bring 80% of the result, and vice versa, 80% of your efforts lead to only 20% of the result. We work effectively no more than 20% of our working day. Therefore, it is important to do the important things first, and then do the rest. The Pareto law also works in everyday life: 80% of the things that we have at home or in the car are practically not used (things that we do not wear, books that we do not read, dishes that we do not use, etc.) . Get rid of excess, freeing up space and energy.

4. Turn off all distractions

It's hard not to react when something clicks under your ear. Therefore, we turn off: the sound of the phone, any notification from social networks, automatic mail checking. And in order not to miss something really important, put an answering machine on your phone and email, where you specify when you can be contacted again.

5. Be decisive

If you have done / said / decided something, then you should not waste time on meaningless thoughts about the correctness of your decision. What's done is done, draw conclusions and move on. Only those who do nothing do not make mistakes.

6. Learn to say "no"

If you want to do a lot during the day, learn to say no. People like to shift their affairs and responsibilities to others. Helping doesn't mean doing someone else's job.

7. Get Things Done

Many people like to put things off for an indefinite period and not finish what they started. The list of such cases tends to accumulate and the burden of unfulfilled and the realization of how much you still have to do presses on you daily. If you make it a habit not to start a new business until the old one is finished, this will not only stimulate you to finish what you started as soon as possible, but will also teach you not to leave things for later.

8. To do list

Make a list of things that need to be completed and start crossing off what is done from it. Once you're done with your old to-dos, get in the habit of making a to-do list for today, tomorrow, the week, and so on. This will help you be more organized.

9. Do the Important Things First

Make a chart like the one below and write down all your tasks divided into 4 groups: Urgent and Important, Not Urgent but Important, Urgent but Not Important, Not Urgent and Not Important. Of course, do things from the first group first, and you can do things from the last group if you have free time.

10. Keep order

A lot of time is saved when you have things in order, on your desktop and computer. Each thing must have its own place, documents must be systematized, you must not leave work until there is perfect order. 5 minutes to maintain order will save you hours in the end that could be spent searching required document or things.

11. Get rid of pattern thinking

As a rule, our work is monotonous, which is why it is so easy to become a victim pattern thinking. Try to do your job differently, because the usual is not always the best. Perhaps your work can be done faster if you automate it or delegate your responsibilities.

12. Focus on what you are doing

Our mind is so arranged that we think about many things at the same time and as a result, we practically do not know how to concentrate. If you diligently engage in one thing, without being distracted by anything, it is much more efficient both in terms of time and effort expended than if you do several things, jumping from one to another. Multitasking won't help you become more productive.

13. Get to work right away

Many people, before starting work, begin to put things in order in papers or on the table, drink coffee, read social pages, and then they are amazed at where the time allotted for work has gone! If you know what to do, immediately get to work, and if you do it quickly, as a bonus, you can drink coffee and social media look in.

14. Make the most of your time

We waste a lot of time, but it could be put to good use. For example, while driving to work, you can listen to an audiobook, while having breakfast, make a plan for the day, and while standing in line, make a shopping list or review notes, crossing off what you have done and adding new tasks for the evening or this week.

15. Track your time

You can save hours of free time by being more selective about the movies and TV shows you watch and the magazines and newspapers you read.

16. Change activities

The body never gets tired as a whole, usually only some muscle groups get tired at the same time. Changing jobs will help you deal with it. For example, if you've been working sitting for several hours in a row, switch to a job where you can do something while standing or moving. And vice versa. Practice this method for at least a week and you will see how much more your body can withstand.

17. Start early

It has been noticed that if you come to work half an hour earlier, you can do much more. If you organize your day correctly, you can go to bed with your children, i.e. no later than 10 pm, and get up at 5 am. For 2 morning hours until the children get up, you can have time to do much more than in the evening from 22 to 24, when you are pretty tired at the end of the day.

18. Work when you work

You probably noticed that there are days when the work is “boiling and arguing”, and there are days when you don’t feel like doing absolutely anything. This is normal and should be treated with understanding and calmness. If there is no urgent work, then it is quite possible to afford a day or two of rest.

19. Set your daily routine

We will be much more in time if everything is done on time and at the set time. The daily routine will allow your body to work like clockwork. To do this, carefully plan your day, including meals and sleep. You will fall asleep much faster and wake up more easily if it is at the same time, even on weekends. If you eat at a strictly set time, it will also have a positive effect on your digestion and overall well-being. If you leave work at the same time, it will not give you a reason not to finish the work.

20. Be careful

If you want to save time, listen carefully, write down directions and information, and clarify if necessary. This will help you avoid misunderstandings, repetitions and rework.

21. Get rid of the "eaters" of time

Fortunately or unfortunately, there are only 24 hours in a day. And no matter what you do, there won't be 25 or 30 of them. So if you really want to have time to do a lot during the day, you need to get rid of those activities that waste your precious time.

22. Go on an information diet

Nowadays, we are constantly exposed to information attacks, our brain practically does not rest: news on TV, gossip of colleagues, work moments, home conversations, etc. As a result, we feel that our head swells from an overabundance of information, we become distracted and sluggish. Tim Ferris, author of 4 Hours working week suggests we go on a low-information diet.

23. Optimize your work

Think about what takes up a lot of your time. For example, cooking. Now there are multicookers that will perfectly cope with cooking with little or no participation from you. Or let's go shopping. Learn to order and buy things online. This will save you a lot of time, effort and money. When buying products via the Internet, you, firstly, do not buy anything superfluous, but only what is on your list, secondly, you will not waste time going to the supermarket, standing in line, thirdly, you have everything they will bring it into the house, why should you strain yourself once again.

24. Only three tasks a day

Do you want to be more successful? Eat a frog for breakfast - that's what Western time management experts say. To eat a frog means to do something not the most pleasant, but very important in the morning. When this task is done, the rest of the tasks will seem trifling compared to the morning. Plan three important things for today, the first of which will be the “frog”. Having completed three important things, the rest of the things to the best of your ability and ability. Thus, every day will be effective for you, because at least three things have been done!

Yesterday I crossed two borders, completed three ongoing projects with clients, made a deal with great prospects, and in the evening had dinner at home with her soulmate.

I work 25 hours a week, sleep eight hours a day, don't make a schedule, and still manage to get a lot more done than when I was glued to an office desk 60+ hours a week.

I'm far from superhuman. Everything described above is just an illustrative example.

You see, being independent of the place and working for myself for more than a year, I received several valuable lessons efficiency and time management.

Below is a list of life hacks that may seem very simple. However, once you really try them out, you will notice that your tasks take less and less time.

1. Take Advantage of the Zeigarnik Effect

The brain has an annoying built-in function to constantly remind you of the things you left unfinished, thus pushing you to finish the task. This is what it is, and it will help you complete the things that you have already begun.

It doesn't matter if you like the problem you need to solve or not, do it according to at least one tiny step towards it.

Faced with creative crisis and can't write? Open an empty file and start typing whatever you like. Need to start planning your wedding? Start by looking for a wedding bouquet. Need to tomorrow develop a marketing strategy for the company? Record a couple of ideas on video to get started.

In 99% of cases, you will work on the task to the bitter end.

2. Use project management tools (not just work cases)

Our brains don't like complex tasks. When he is faced with some abstract task, say "create a monthly marketing campaign," he immediately becomes discouraged and prefers to do easy habitual things.

That's why it's important to break down every big undertaking into a few simple, tiny, achievable steps.

Here, project management tools are acquired importance. You don't want to miss any important steps, right?

There are a myriad of both free and paid personal project management apps. I like the visual approach to management in Casual the most.

What's great about this app is that you can structure information the way it comes to your mind - in relationships rather than linearly. So instead of drawing a linear step by step plan you can create a detailed picture of a project with multiple activity streams that happen at the same time or one after the other. (More about mind mapping and tools for it).

In other words, you are drawing a visual map that allows you to see the entire project at a glance, plus helps you to small steps leading to your goal.

Here is an example of such a project:

Why this visual approach works great for me (and maybe works for you too):

  1. You always know what step should be next, so you don’t even leave yourself a chance to procrastinate.
  2. You have a big, clear picture of your goals at a glance.
  3. Planning a whole project is as easy as drawing it on paper (which I have done before), and using a plan is much more convenient.
  4. If you work in a team, it will always be clear what has already been done and what is being done now. This means that there will be less mistakes and missed deadlines.

Other popular tools I've enjoyed using are Basecamp, Podio, and Microsoft Project.

3. Change your habits

Today it is easy to find information on how to keep up with everything you do, but how many of you put these tips into practice? I was on that boat too.

We all have habits, and change them a lot. However, one clever solution to this problem can be found in Charles Duhigg's book "". The author calls it the habit cycle. In short, a habit has three components: a stimulus (the "trigger" that precedes the habit), a habit (the actual repetition of the action), and a reward (the extrinsic and intrinsic reward you get for doing the habit).

Now the bad news is that you can’t influence irritants in any way. Good news- you can change habitual behavior.

The solution is to plan what needs to be done in networks and media the night before. Install for yourself exact time when to do it, and do it every day.

This approach is applicable to any stimulus that leads to negative behavior.

Every time you complete your new habitual action, make sure you reward yourself for it. Create a ritual for yourself that will help you anticipate your negative behaviors, such as mindless web surfing, spending money, or eating sweets, and each time you manage to avoid it, reward yourself with something nice.

Repeat 21 days until new habit won't stick.

About 50 years ago, neuroscientist Nathaniel Kleitman discovered that our body goes from peak to trough every 90 minutes throughout the day. This phenomenon is also known as ultradian rhythm. Simply put, we can only be productive for 90 minutes.

What happens after 90 minutes? We start looking for additional fuel in the form of caffeine, sugary bars, or our own stress hormones: adrenaline, norepinephrine, and cortisol. At this point, we lose focus, stop thinking clearly and see the whole picture.

My day yesterday went like this: I got to the airport and worked at a coffee shop for 90 minutes before landing (there was no Wi-Fi), watched a movie during the flight and went back to work on the train from Switzerland to France. When I got home, I quickly checked my inbox, had dinner, and worked another 90 minutes.

As a result, in just 4.5 hours I made most a job that I would have spent an 8-hour day doing before.

5. Prioritize to the last

One Pentagon executive summed up this advice brilliantly:

First, I make a list of priorities: first, second, third, and so on. And then I cross out everything below the third.

This is Golden Rule for any daily task list. Move all tasks after the third one to the next day.

Can't decide which tasks are more important?

  1. Consider whether there is a dependency between tasks. Is it possible to take step A without taking step B? If not, then task B is more important. Choose those tasks that affect your future success.
  2. Use a decision matrix.

Everything in the right upper corner, it is worth noting the label "Do it now". High-impact tasks that are difficult to do should be mixed in with others that are less complex. Tasks with little impact that are easy to do should be delegated.

For me, a super-productive place of work is airports and airplanes. In fact, I tend to take connecting flights more often than direct flights (they are at least $100 cheaper, by the way), and try to get as many things done on days I'm on the road as opposed to when I'm working from home.

Now let me explain.

Do you have strictly limited time(before departure or before landing) and limited free Wi-Fi. This means you can work in 90 minute sprints to stay at your peak.

You have nothing to be distracted when you are sitting on an airplane: your phone is turned off, and only a clean effective work to be completed within a limited amount of time. I often try to recreate a similar environment at home: I turn off the Internet and do my job for 90 minutes without being distracted by anything else.

Let's summarize. Here's a plan to do more and work less:

    1. Take the first step in your journey and let the Zeigarnik effect help you complete it.
    2. Use project management tools to be clear about what needs to be done and stay focused.
    3. Track your irritants and convert them into positive habits.
    4. Prioritize and work on the most important tasks.
    5. Eliminate everything that distracts you. For example, arrange an "airport day" for yourself.

Time cannot be turned back, so its value is difficult to exaggerate. You can't get back the lost time. Every adult and independent person have the right to manage their time. But why do some people have time for everything, while others lack twenty-four hours a day? How to do everything without compromising physical and mental health?

Time management in the truest sense of the word is impossible. Management means the ability to use time rationally so that you can do everything you want to do.

Accounting and operational planning time is defined as (translated from English as "time management").

Time management allows you to organize work and personal time within the framework of one day to a week. To determine the ability to streamline life as a whole, the concept of life management (translated from English as “life management”) has been introduced.

There is an opinion that knowledge of time management helps only in work, only leaders and managers need it. This is not true. Time management is useful to anyone who wants to organize their time and learn how to use it effectively. And the engineer, and the housewife, and the student want to know how to increase efficiency and save time, because they all work.

The basic rules of time management will prompt busy person how to do everything both at work and at home, without harm to health.

Principle effective management time: time is not measured in minutes, but in events. Need to measure time life events, deeds. This unusual perception of time will give a person a feeling of fullness of life.

The main idea of time management is that time should be spent on the most important things in life.

How to keep up with everything if it is not clear what exactly needs to be done in time? To manage time, you need to learn:

  1. prioritize;
  2. define achievable, specific, clear goals;
  3. plan a day, a week, a life.

Schedule

Time management starts with planning the day. It’s good when a person knows how to make a schedule for the day, or better, write it down in a diary. Goals, tasks, plans and a daily schedule written down on paper are more likely to be achieved than those that are not written down.

Making a daily routine, a person better remembers what he has to do. And you won’t be able to forget anything, because everything is recorded!

Another positive aspect of the daily routine is the division of tasks into important and less important. By writing down the exact time by which you need to complete the task, a person sorts all the tasks into urgent, paramount and those that can be postponed for a while.

The daily routine organizes and obliges the individual to be responsible and punctual. You need to try to stick to the schedule.

Tips to help you stick to your daily routine without breaking the schedule:

  • Order

In order not to waste time looking for things, they need to be kept in order. Each thing should have its own place so as not to remember where it was left.

If a person has everything on the shelves on the desktop in the literal sense, then everything is also on the shelves in the head in figuratively. A good hostess has all kitchen and household utensils, linen and food in their places, signed and sorted.

  • Distractions

How to keep up with everything when there are so many distractions around? TV, telephone, Internet, distracting smells, sounds - these are all time wasters, being distracted by which, a person is out of schedule. There should be time for communication, relaxation and entertainment, but it should also be included in the schedule.

If there are too many distractions, you need to take steps to eliminate them. Yes, a friend who calls just to chat can be offended if she is denied this. But do you need such a friend who does not understand that now there is no time to talk to her, and continues to bother?

  • automatisms

Some everyday procedures can be brought to automatism. Fulfilling them, along the way, do something else. For example, a girl wants to learn foreign language on her own, but cannot find time to study, as she is busy with housework. She determines the habitual activity that she does automatically (washing dishes) and, doing it, learns the language (listens to the tutorial in audio format).

  • Rest

Persistent and hardworking people, answering the question: “How to do everything?”, Decide to extend the working day by refusing to rest. They just don't rest. As a result, labor efficiency decreases, a person becomes overtired, loses interest in work, and with it health.

You need to rest physically, mentally and morally. Camping and cultural recreationgreat opportunity not only relax, but also recharge your batteries, be inspired to new achievements.

  • Start the day and end it on time

People who reset the alarm after it has rung for another five minutes doom themselves to being late, fuss, turmoil and worries throughout the next day.

It is best to always get up at the same time. Going to bed at the same time is also useful, the body gets used to it, and the process of falling asleep is faster. This is the prevention of insomnia.

How to keep your brain in shape

Not always the problem of lack of time lies in the inability to manage it. Sometimes a person does not have enough strength to complete all the planned activities. How to improve brain performance? when the brain refuses to think?

Modern life is oversaturated with information, events and stressful situations. All this leads to a decrease in the efficiency of the brain.

Some people intuitively come to the realization of how to increase mental performance The body is telling them what to do.

For example, students eat chocolate before an exam. Sweet not only improves mood, but also improves brain function. Chocolate contains sugar, which is needed for brain activity, it "charges" the brain.

In addition to chocolate, there are other, more effective and helpful ways improve brain performance:

  • Breaks at work

The ability to take a break from work for a while and get some rest has a positive effect on performance during the day. After work, you need to take a break from it, do household chores, hobbies, communicate with loved ones.

Obsessive thoughts about work do not allow the brain to relax. Often, it is after a person is distracted from the problem, “let go” of it, that ideas come to him about how to solve it.

Consciousness rests during sleep, and the unconscious part of the psyche continues to work. For people who are guided by the principle “the morning is wiser than the evening”, the answer to the question of how to increase efficiency is simple - get a good night's sleep.

The optimal load for a healthy and efficient individual is from thirty-five to forty working hours per week. Two days off are designed to restore strength, gain energy and desire to work further. In order not to waste hours of rest, it is also better to plan weekends.

  • Nutrition

It is good for the brain to eat foods containing natural starch and sugar: nuts, potatoes, rice, beans, black bread, and so on. The so-called slow carbohydrates, unlike fast ones, are able to charge the brain with energy for a long time. The diet should include all the necessary for the human body and minerals.

Using I write, you need to know the measure. If, if you want to increase the efficiency of the brain, a person will overeat, the effect will be the opposite. Satiety negatively affects the performance of the brain, the body spends energy on the assimilation and processing of food instead of sending it to the brain. After a too heavy lunch, a person does not know how to force himself to work, as there is a desire to lie down and relax.

  • Warm-ups, gymnastics and physical activity

During the working day it is useful to do physical exercises. Specialists working at a computer should periodically be distracted from it and do gymnastics for the eyes. Physical activity improves blood circulation in the brain, and also helps to restore old or create new neural connections.

Self-massage of the head and neck. Massage of the head and collar area improves blood flow in the cerebral cortex. If you do self-massage of the head at least once for ten minutes every day, the question of how to force yourself to work in the late afternoon will lose relevance, the ability to maintain clarity of thought will remain until the end of the working day.

  • color therapy

It has been proven that color affects the brain, changing the state and mood of a person. You can charge the brain by looking at the yellow color. It is the color of the sun, energy, optimism. It improves mental performance, tones and invigorates.

You can find or print a picture in which yellow color predominates, look at a piece of furniture yellow color or look outside on a sunny day.

  • aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses all natural essential oils. Citrus and woody scents are the best to stimulate the brain. You can light an aroma lamp (if a person works at home), drop oil into an aroma pendant and hang it next to you or apply a little on the skin (initially test for an allergic reaction).

  • Reading

Reading at least thirty minutes a day is a universal answer to the question of how to increase brain performance. This method is suitable for children, and adults, and people of advanced age.

Reading increases concentration, develops imagination, figurative and analytical thinking, expands horizons, develops personality and brain. Of course, not all literature is useful, preference should be given to classical works, scientific and educational publications, textbooks.

  • Rejection of bad habits

The opinion that alcohol, nicotine, caffeine and all other substances addictive, stimulate brain activity, erroneously. These are false stimulants that create only the illusion of improving brain function.

In fact, they all worsen it, the amount of work performed is reduced and the quality suffers. The answer to the question of how to do everything in a day is obvious for a smoker - quit smoking. Smoking takes a lot of time and health.

Often a person does not know how to make himself work, because he does not know how to motivate himself. In this case, nothing will help him if he does not want to help himself.

How to do everything when you really don’t feel like doing it, you are too lazy to work, your thoughts are focused on anything but work? Need to get motivated!

The best motivation is personal goals. You need to be aware and remind yourself of what you need to try and work for. When work is filled with meaning, it becomes easy and enjoyable. By working consciously, a person inspires himself and stimulates the brain to continue working in order to achieve goals.

With age, there is a feeling that time upbraids running. It is based on the understanding that, objectively, there is less and less time left in life, and there are more and more deeds, desires, aspirations and needs. Enough already life experience in order to effectively organize their activities at the workplace and at home, and now the main enemy is time, or rather its inexorable movement forward. To overcome this run, you need to do more than before, in the same time frame.

On the way to the intensification of activity, barriers constantly arise, which can be conditionally called "time thieves". They select the main resource, which a person learns to manage almost all his life. Everything that in one way or another interferes with achieving the goal is associated with factors that “devour” time. They also create such external and psychological circumstances, due to which, for some time, the ability to do what is required and what brings pleasure is lost qualitatively, quickly and with a perspective orientation.

What are the main "time thieves"?

  • Bad habits. There are a great many of them: from smoking and social media hobbies to disorganization and chaotic snacking. organism heavy smoker requires nicotine at least once an hour. With an 8-hour working day, it is easy to calculate that 10-minute smoke breaks “pour out” into almost an hour and a half of voluntary downtime. It is difficult to rely on those who abuse alcohol in serious matters. In addition, an unpleasant morning "ambre" and a hangover turn a person into a kind of zombie, for which work recedes into the background, compared with the desire to "treat".
  • The conversations are irrelevant. When students in a pair ask the teacher to “talk on an abstract topic,” they take away their time and knowledge, hoping to delay the moment of the survey through a conversation “about nothing”. If the teacher follows the lead, he admits that he is unable to organize the lesson so that students do not have thoughts about anything other than studying. The desire to gossip at work is only a temporary self-withdrawal of participants in an impromptu “ round table» from fulfillment official duties which adversely affects productivity.
  • Force majeure (unforeseen circumstances). These are a cold, a broken leg, stress, sudden problems in personal and professional fields, not speaking about natural disasters and other misfortunes that unsettle for a long time. Recovery after experienced troubles is delayed. Only a few manage to mobilize and gather internal reserves into a fist in order to continue acting "in their own field", whether it be creativity, work, teaching.
  • And, of course, laziness! Laziness is a conscious refusal to start, continue or complete an action. It is she who prevents to bring non-ergonomic workplace in proper condition, spend a little effort and start planning the daily routine. She does not allow her to collect her thoughts and stop being distracted by numerous temptations, screaming: “Watch TV, play computer game, have fun, relax, then finish it, the work will not go anywhere!

It is possible and necessary to fight against the "thieves of time", the appearance of which is associated with the deviation of a person from the desired mode of consumption of this resource. The influence of others should be minimized or an attempt should be made to avoid their occurrence. By managing time, a person acquires the degree of freedom with which he can do more and one step closer to the feeling / state, which is called the motivating word "success".

Take just 10 minutes of your time for self-development and find out how to keep up with everything and be on top!

It has an amazing ability to stop in place when we are doing something boring and unloved, and, literally the next day, fly at a speed of several hundred kilometers per second if we have fun or need to cope with a lot of things ... unfortunately ...

Few people would not want to acquire such a valuable ally and learn.

So imagine that there are people who have tamed the clock and they no longer need to worry about how to do everything.

So, how do you learn to be successful?

I once had former colleague at work - Nastya.

Not stupid, active, executive - a good, in general, girl.

But she has one huge drawback that hinders both her and her entire team: lack of punctuality in doing things.

Zapara is actually her middle name, and neuroses from piled up tasks are constant companions.

At the same time, it cannot be said that she is just lazy and does not want to do anything, this would explain Nastya's situation.

She is constantly busy with something and seems to be trying to do everything, but something is always missing to do everything!

I believe that the main problems of my colleague are due to the fact that she:

  1. Doesn't know how to plan his time.
  2. Constantly distracted.
  3. Unable to focus on one thing.
  4. Doesn't know how to lead The Diary success.
  5. Takes on more than he can handle.

How to do everything: the beginning!

Learning to complete all tasks on time is as simple as programming your life for success.

People do not even realize that most of the problems and obstacles in their lives they create themselves.

It takes only a little effort and everything will turn out even better than you expected.

Of course, sloths who do not want to work on themselves will never understand how to do everything and will continue to wallow in the unfinished business with no hope of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

As you know: "You can win any battle only by choosing the right weapon!"

So the taming of time you need to start with the purchase of a beautiful notebook, pen and clock.

The expense is small, but the benefits of this acquisition will be huge.

“First, imagine that an hour is not just a unit of time. It is a commodity that can be exchanged for money, education, pleasure, health, and other resources. All you have to do is figure out what you need.”

But most importantly, you must understand that a person who feels tired and unhealthy, in principle, will not be able to work productively.

Therefore, take as a rule:

    Get enough sleep:

the cherished rule about 7-8 hours of necessary sleep was not invented by fools.

    Healthy food:

not only that it is tasty, but also that it is useful.

Fresh vegetables and fruits should be regular guests on your table.

    Exercise:

physical activity not only improves immunity, but also gives a charge of vivacity.

    To-do lists are everything!

I hope you have already bought a beautiful notebook and pen to keep your success diary?

So: get into the habit of writing in the evening or in the morning to-do lists that you plan to finish during the day.

Moreover, do not write them from the bulldozer, but next to each item indicate the time required to complete it.

    Did you do the job?

    Cross him off the list.

You can also create separate lists of global plans for a month or a year.

Before you finish the work, fight the desire to get into Facebook or the UNIAN website, drop a phone call from a girlfriend, refuse a mug of coffee.

All this can be done during the break.

Don't take on more responsibilities than you can carry!

Each person has a limit of his abilities: for someone it is very small, for someone it is very impressive.

Your job is to define yours!

Colleague Tanya can write 5 articles in a day, and you only 3, no matter how hard you try?

Then you should not beg the boss for 5 tasks, then sit until midnight, not have time, get nervous and get a “beat” the next day.

Better complete your three tasks on time and with high quality!

    Keep order in the workplace!

Even if your workplace is your own apartment, you don’t need to turn it into a dump.

Firstly, unnecessary items are distracting, secondly, you spend time trying to find something you need in these rubble, and thirdly, the mess dampens and does not allow you to tune in to the working mood.

    Optimize your workflow.

Every business, including homework, can be simplified and reduced in time to complete it, if you show a little ingenuity.

Here, for example, the files that I need to work on a daily basis are copied to a separate folder, although all electronic documents I store in thematically-chronological folders.

    Use modern gadgets.

When preparing dinner, you probably gladly resort to the help of a food processor, multicooker, electric meat grinder, etc., and do not do everything manually, wasting your time and energy.

The same principle must be followed in any business!

    Reward yourself for success.

They did one thing quickly and efficiently - drink tea with a delicious cake, another - look at the news feed on Facebook, the third - go for a walk, etc.

Don't get stuck in one place.

People can bring themselves to hysterics in search of perfection they understand only.

Remember that the best is the enemy of the good.

Do not dwell on some stupid ideals if it slows down your progress.

    Don't accumulate unfinished business.

Forget about the phrase: "I'll do it tomorrow!".

Today is today, and you must complete everything planned before midnight.

If you put something off every day, then sooner or later an avalanche of unfulfilled tasks will cover you.

Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Sometimes, due to pride (or stupidity?), we are afraid to turn to even the closest people for help.

If you do not have time, then ask your mother to cook dinner, your husband to pick up the child from the garden, your friend-colleague to answer a call from a client, etc.

from the famous video blogger Pavel Bagryantsev:

“How to keep up with everything and manage many projects at the same time?”

You can try them all and choose the most optimal for yourself, you can combine these tips, or you can come up with something of your own.

The main thing is to start acting, and not just moan every day: “ How to do everything?!».
