The Presidium of the Academy, its sections, regional branches and other structures carry out a wide and diverse editorial and publishing activity aimed at highlighting and popularizing scientific achievements its members. Articles, reviews, analytical materials are regularly published on the pages of Nezavisimaya Gazeta, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Promyshlennye Vedomosti, Ekonomicheskaya Gazeta, Literaturnaya Gazeta, Natural Resource Vedomosti, in the magazines Stolitsa, Vlast ”, “Financial Control”, “Business Match” and in other publications.

Under the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, there is an editorial and publishing council (RIS RANS), which is headed by Vice-President V.A. Zuev, executive secretary - Ph.D. P.A. Alekseev. The Council plans and develops the Academy's strategy in this area, reviews the works prepared for publication. The capabilities of the editorial department of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences allow you to perform the entire complex of editorial and publishing work.

The main printed organ of the Academy is the Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. The journal is registered with the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Press, Broadcasting and Mass Media and since 2001 has been published four times a year with a circulation of 1000 copies.

The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences operates on the basis of the Charter and within the framework of the legislation of the Russian Federation. The Academy is a legal entity and, in accordance with the established procedure, carries out scientific, economic and foreign economic activities. The Academy includes sections, regional and thematic departments, research centers, associations and small institutes. The Academy was accredited to the United Nations on January 17, 1995, and in July 2002, the RANS was assigned the status of a non-governmental organization at the UN - NGO (Non-governmental organization) in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

It was established in 1990 as a counterbalance to the State Academy of Sciences of the USSR (now the State Academy of Sciences) in response to bureaucracy and cerebral phimosis. Scientists are tearing the remnants of hair from the tops, talking about the collapse of Russian education on all fronts, from schools to universities. The late V. L. Therefore, the broom's chosen ones tend to create their own hobby groups - with their own blackjack and diplomas. If adult boys do not want to hang out with the discoverers of torsion fields, we will create our own research institute, our own fund of ufologists, our own bureau of alternative biology! In Russia, however, things are somewhat different. Our charlatans live much more freely: they are often accepted by the authorities, the media and society better than real scientists. And the RAN played a significant role in this. It is also the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, which has long and tenderly taken under its wing the most odious representatives of the world of parallel (and sometimes completely perpendicular) science.

History of creation

You should not think that the RANS was specially founded as a haven for crooks. Not at all. On the contrary, the goals were the most noble. By the end of perestroika, the Academy of Sciences of the USSR was a gigantic organization with huge property stupidly used, a structure riddled with bureaucracy and, to be honest, rather stagnant and mossy. The ancient academics, in between resuscitation and enemas, viciously crushed the fresh ideas of the youth, and the sixty-year-old youth rebelled.

In 1990, a group of scientists decided to give up on the USSR Academy of Sciences and create a new academy. It was supposed to present those branches and directions that were ignored in the old academy for various reasons. It would not depend on the party and the government, and on the state in general, but would flourish magnificently and freely on its own. Among the founders of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences there were many extremely decent people. Academician (real) Likhachev, for example. Having met each other, they converged in ecstasy, creating a powerful mutual responsibility for all their unconventional inventions and breakthroughs that exceed human understanding.

One of the most famous academicians of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences is, of course, Anatoly Fomenko. Today's RANS is also firmly on its feet, primarily due to the fact that high officials, right party members and prominent businessmen are especially eager to be invited there. No, this audience is not looking for needles on the Sun and does not spin torsion fields - it just loves diplomas, titles and titles. Collectors because. And now there are so many of these collectors that cautious people prefer not to criticize the RANS.
