Paid section of the northeastern chord. TPU "Sviblovo" and the north-eastern chord

North and northeast of Moscow: defragmentation of the road network August 6th, 2013

Some time ago I wrote about Moscow. Let's continue the topic with a review of the main objects of the Northern and North-Eastern districts.

A pleasant surprise: not one, but two chord corridors are being formed in the north and northeast of Moscow! About one of them, the main traffic light Northeast chord, is well known. And here is the local and traffic light chord from Festivalnaya street to Malygina street(with the prospect of extending to Malyginsky proezd) is not even known local residents.

blue Northeast chord, green local chord st. Festivalnaya - st. Malygin

Chorda major, Northeastern

The North-Eastern chord (former Northern Rocade) will run from the St. Petersburg-Moscow toll road to the Moscow-Noginsk toll road. Its tracing is completely along the railways (Oktyabrskaya, MKMZhD, Kazanskaya) - the best possible corridor for passing a traffic-free highway.

Site maps
Businovskaya interchange with MKAD

Section Businovskaya - Festivalnaya

Section Festivalnaya - Mosselmash

Plot from Dmitrovskoe highway before Yaroslavl highway

The section from the Yaroslavl highway to open highway(through Losiny Ostrov) is still being designed, there is no scheme.
Section from Otkrytoye to Schelkovskoye Highway

Section from Shchelkovsky to Izmailovsky highway
Section from Entuziastov Highway to Izmailovsky Highway

Section from Entuziastov Highway to MKAD

Now 2 sections are being actively built: in the north (Businovskaya interchange and the section to Festivalnaya Street) and in the east (the section from the Entuziastov highway to Izmailovsky highway, formerly included in the title of the Fourth Ring). The rest are being designed.

Chorda minor, unnamed

This chord will increase the connectivity of the local network, torn apart by railways, and will connect the SAO and SVAO, Leningradskoye, Korovinskoye, Dmitrovskoye, Altufevskoye shosse and Yeniseiskaya street. And in the future it will also go to the Yaroslavl highway.

However, this local chord is so little known that it doesn't even have a common name! She used to be called " northern understudy MKAD. An unfortunate choice: the corridor will connect the local streets, which will remain traffic lights, what kind of understudy is the Moscow Ring Road? In the Targeted Investment Program of Moscow for 2013-2015. this road is called "the highway from the street. Festivalnaya to Altufevskoe Highway. But this is not true either: the corridor does not end with Altufevskoye Highway, but goes to Bibirevskaya, Shirokaya and Malygina streets, with the prospect of extending to Malyginsky passage. In general, for clarity, I propose to call it highway from Festivalnaya street to Malyginsky proezd.

This corridor will be created by 3 overpasses with interchanges - through the Oktyabrskoye, Savelovskoye and Yaroslavskoye directions railway. In the diagram below current position affairs.

The first of them, between Festivalnaya and Taldomskaya, is already under construction.

I wonder what it's building within the North eastern chord (more precisely, by the title of the Northern Rocade, as it used to be called). Some opponents of chords do not like to remember this: this fact does not fit into the ideologeme "the chord breaks the local connection." As we see, in this case the traffic-free North-Eastern chord not only does not break local connectivity, but even increases it! In the AIP of Moscow for 2013-2015 this interchange is called the "Section of the Moscow - St. Petersburg (Northern Rokada) Highway", road junction at the intersection with Festivalnaya Street." 4,100 million rubles have been allocated for its construction. Terms 2012-2014.

The second overpass will be built under a separate title "Magistral from the street. Festivalnaya to Altufevskoe highway with an overpass with the Savelovsky direction of the Moscow Railways. 200 million are allocated for design in the Targeted Investment Program, the design time is 2014-2016. 2685 million were allocated for the construction, the terms are 2015-2016. There are no plans yet.

There is no third overpass (through the Yaroslavl direction of the railway) in the AIP yet. But the overpass across the Malyginskiy proezd, which is now being completed as part of the reconstruction of the Yaroslavl Highway, creates all the prerequisites for the inclusion of this overpass in the AIP in the coming years. This would put an end to the isolation of the Yaroslavl region from the rest of the North-Eastern district and unload the Yaroslavl highway from those who need not to the center, but to the North-Eastern Administrative District or the Northern Administrative District.

What other new links will appear in SVAO?
The torn parts will finally be connected together passage Shokalsky. Now everyone has to make a rerun of 1.5 kilometers, moreover, passing through 2 busy intersections and the Medvedkovo metro station.

Probok.net submitted this proposal to the Road Paradox program in 2011.

In the AIP, the title is called "Section of the passage of Shokalsky from Zarevoy passage to Grekov street", 5 million were allocated for the design in 2014, and 30 million for the construction in 2015.

What's next?
It just begs the extension of the local chord Festivalnaya - Malyginsky to the west, in fact isolated from the rest of Moscow Northwestern District. Unfortunately, Festivalnaya Street in the area of Leningradskoye Shosse rests on the Khimki Reservoir, and the connection with Yana Rainis Boulevard that suggests itself here is not even in the General Plan 2025. We will follow the changes and implementation of plans.

Road construction in Russian capital doesn't stop for a day. And, despite the fact that sometimes it seems that all the reserves for improving the transport situation are already close to exhaustion, the city authorities, designers and builders manage to find new solutions to make life easier for motorists and passengers public transport. The commissioning of the system of chord roads and rocades will additionally relieve the load on the center and the main ring roads of the city.

Initially, Moscow turned out to be a hostage to the radial-ring transport system. And at a time when motorization was relatively slow, this state of affairs suited everyone. However, the capital was not ready for a sharp increase in the city's population and the number of cars at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. Analysts of the Monarch and B construction company, which is part of the Monarch Group of Companies, came to this conclusion.

The actions taken then by the authorities of the city did not keep pace with the pace of its development - new and reconstructed streets instantly turned into places of traffic congestion.

It became clear that building more and more new rings is a solution that does not give a serious effect and improves the traffic situation only for a short period of time. But it was obviously impossible to abandon the existing radial-annular system. Under these conditions, the city authorities, together with the best engineering and design minds, had to figure out how to make sure that the city does not get stuck in giant traffic jams in the near future.

The main idea was the redistribution of flows. In order to get from one sleeping area to another, located at the opposite end of the city, there were two travel options: through the Moscow Ring Road and through the center. Alternative paths were either inconvenient or too time consuming. New routes were needed. This is how the project for the construction of a system of chords and rocades appeared.

NORTH EASTERN CHORD

This highway will pass the North-Eastern a chord 35 kilometers long will pass from new track M11 "Moscow - St. Petersburg" to the Kosinskaya flyover - interchange at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with the highway "Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy". The chord will connect the Moscow Ring Road, Entuziastov Highway, Izmailovskoye, Shchelkovskoye, Otkrytoye, Yaroslavskoye, Altufevskoye and Dmitrovskoye Highways. It will reduce the traffic load on the center, the Third Transport Ring, the Moscow Ring Road and outbound highways.

The other day, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin opened traffic on overpasses at the junction of the North-Eastern Expressway with Entuziastov Highway and Budyonny Avenue. In August, an overpass was opened at the intersection of the new highway and Shchelkovskoye Highway. The main work on the construction of the North-Eastern Expressway is planned to be completed in 2019, said the head of the city's construction complex Marat Khusnullin.

In addition to the section from Entuziastov Highway to Izmailovsky Highway, two more have already been built - from Businovskaya interchange to Festivalnaya street and from Izmailovsky to Schelkovo highway. Currently, work is underway on sections from the Entuziastov Highway to the Moscow Ring Road and from Festivalnaya Street to Dmitrovskoye Highway.

NORTHWESTERN CHORD

The task of this city highway is to provide a diagonal connection between the northeast and southwestern regions the capital, bypassing the city center, unload the Third Transport Ring, Moscow Ring Road, Garden Ring, Leningradskoye, volokolamskoe highway and other highways. The new highway will run from Skolkovo to Yaroslavl highway.

The reconstructed Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street, together with the Alabyano-Baltiysky Tunnel, formed the main part of the highway, which, in the area of Dmitrovskoye Highway, joined the North-Eastern Expressway and through the Businovskaya Interchange got access to a new highway in the direction of Sheremetyevo Airport.

Thanks to the Mikhalkovsky tunnel, it became possible to remove traffic light objects. Traffic has already been launched on the overpass at the intersection of Skolkovskoye highway with Vyazemskaya and Vitebskaya streets, along the turning overpass with Ryabinovaya and the bridge over the Setun River.

finish everything construction works on the North-Western Chord and it is planned to launch the entire highway in 2018.

SOUTHERN ROKADA

The road will connect the Moscow Ring Road through Rublevskoye Highway, Balaklavsky Prospekt, Varshavskoye Highway, Kantemirovskaya Street, Kashirskoye Highway and Borisovskie Ponds. Rokada will become a backup for the Moscow Ring Road and the southern section of the Third Ring Road. Its task is to redistribute traffic flows and unload the Kashirskoye and Varshavskoye highways, as well as Proletarsky Prospekt. The new highway will include existing roads, which will be reconstructed and expanded.

According to the plans of the city authorities, the Southern Rocade will pass from Balaklavsky prospect through the tunnel under the Warsaw highway, then through the overpass will cross railways, the bridge will pass the Chertanovka River and connect with Kantemirovskaya Street in the area Proletarian Avenue. Further through the tunnel, drivers will be able to get to Borisovskie Prudy Street in the direction of Maryino. Farther rocade will go along Verkhnie Polya Street, from where the transport will head towards the Moscow Ring Road through Kapotnya.

To date, the section from Rublevsky Highway to Balaklavsky Prospekt has already been put into operation. Overpasses and pedestrian crossings were built here. The plans of the city authorities include the construction of a junction at the intersection Warsaw highway and Balaklavsky prospect. A tunnel, overpass, U-turn ramps and side driveways will appear in this place. In addition, an overpass will be erected under the tracks Paveletsky direction, a bridge across the Chertanovka River and an underground pedestrian crossing. And the section from the intersection with Proletarsky Prospekt to the Moscow Ring Road will be formed at the expense of existing streets.

Total length of chord roads will be about 243 kilometers. They will build over a hundred transport facilities- tunnels, overpasses, bridges and overpasses. The launch of traffic on new high-speed routes will make it possible to actually create a new ring, but with exits to the Moscow Ring Road, which will unload the last and the Third Ring Road. The plans are to connect the North-Western and North-Eastern chords in the area of Festivalnaya Street with access to the road to the Businovskaya interchange and further to toll road Moscow, Saint Petersburg. The southern roadway will intersect with Northwest chord in the Krylatskoye area.

On October 2, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin inspected the progress of construction of the section of the North-Eastern Expressway from the Entuziastov Highway to the Moscow Ring Road. This section is scheduled to be completed in 2018.

traffic light highway

The route of the section of the North-Eastern chord from the Entuziastov highway to the Moscow Ring Road, which will be built in 2018, will run from the existing section of the chord at the intersection with the Entuziastov highway, then from north side Ryazan direction of the Moscow Railway to the exit to the ring road.

In this section, the highway will be without traffic lights with three lanes in each direction thanks to five overpasses.

The new section of the North-Eastern Expressway from the Entuziastov Highway to the Moscow Ring Road in the future will redistribute traffic flows and reduce the load on outbound highways - Ryazan Avenue, Highway Entuziastov and Shchelkovskoye Highway, as well as to the eastern sectors of the Moscow Ring Road and the Third Ring Road. In addition, the new highway will significantly improve the transport situation in the southeast and eastern parts city, and will also simplify entry into Moscow for residents of the Kosino-Ukhtomsky and Nekrasovka districts and residents of Lyubertsy near Moscow.

In perspective new plot chords will provide an understudy entry to Moscow federal highway"Moscow - Kazan".

Pedestrian accessibility

A new underground passage will be built near the Vykhino metro station. It will be located under the North-Eastern chord and will allow you to get to the subway from the direction of Veshnyakov. In addition to local residents, it will be used by those who come to the Vykhino station by land transport.

In addition, during the construction of the chord, two more existing underground passages will be reconstructed - in the area railway platforms Plyushchevo and Veshnyaki.

Eco-chord

In order to prevent the sound of cars from disturbing the local residents, a three-meter noise screen will be installed along the route. Of course, cars will be heard, but not more than those that drive along the streets of the area.

Photo: Portal Moscow 24/Alexander Avilov

Noise screens from the chord will protect the Kuskovsky forest park.

Even when designing the chord section, the distance from the highway to the borders of the forest park was increased. This should protect the natural-historical object from the possible impact of construction. Also on this segment it is planned to limit the speed of movement.

In addition, it is planned to plant more than 200 mature trees, 1,800 shrubs, 134 thousand square meters of lawns and 500 square meters of flower beds next to the highway.

From East to North in half an hour

The entire North-Eastern chord will be about 35 km long. It will run from the new highway M11 "Moscow - St. Petersburg" to the Kosinskaya flyover - a junction at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy highway. The route will connect major highways of the city: MKAD, Entuziastov highway, Izmailovskoe, Shchelkovskoe, Otkrytoe, Yaroslavskoe, Altufevskoe and Dmitrovskoe highways.

Thus, the North-Eastern Expressway will provide a diagonal connection between the north, east and south-east of the capital, reducing the traffic load on the center, the Third Ring Road, the Moscow Ring Road and outbound highways by about a quarter. In fact, the chord will become an alternate for the Moscow Ring Road and the Third Transport Ring (TTK).

I recently published a report on construction. Finally got around to looking at what is happening in his native area. Today detailed story on the construction of the North-Eastern Expressway (SVKh) - a new highway that will connect the three districts of the capital: north, east and southeast.

01. This is how this place looked in 2016. Due to the construction of a tunnel under the Shchelkovo highway, a large traffic jam for several kilometers formed in the morning.

02. Construction for a while, metro tunnel forever. The work is completed, there are no more traffic jams in this place. Now everyone is standing at the intersection with Khalturinskaya Street.

04. Exit from the temporary storage warehouse to Shchelkovskoe highway towards the Moscow Ring Road.

05. From top to bottom in the photo is Shchelkovo highway, from left to right - temporary storage warehouse. To the left - the metro station "Partizanskaya", to the right - "Cherkizovskaya".

06. 2016 Narrowing due to the construction of overpasses and a tunnel.

07. 2018 From the Shchelkovo highway, exits to the temporary storage warehouse are open in both directions, to the south and to the north.

08. View towards Podbelka. On the left in the photo is the Moscow Central Circle station "Lokomotiv".

10. Further, the chord is folded into a compact version. Most likely this is due to the difficulty of freeing land for construction, as well as due to the passage of the park " Elk Island". If you look closely at the photograph, you can clearly see the temporal organization of the movement, which is transferred to one side.

11. Same place on the other side.

12. The compact version of the route looks like this: traffic from the north will be organized along the overpass, which is not yet open, and traffic from the south will pass under the overpass. Thus, the route will take up almost half the area.

13. While traffic is open to the Mytishchi overpass (to the Open Highway). Next comes construction. Here you can clearly see two tracks located one under the other.

14. Open highway, view towards Metrogorodok. Oh, Metrogorodok, my homeland)

15. Construction of a chord towards the Yaroslavl highway. Everything is in full swing right now. The MCC station "Rokossovsky Boulevard" is visible on the right.

16. Future branches. On the left - the industrial zone of the Metrogorodok.

18. Closer to Losinoostrovskaya street. Here, communications are being laid. As far as I know, the design and approval of the chord project is still underway for the section to the Yaroslavl highway.

19. Let's look at the chord from the other side. View towards "Partizanskaya". Everything has been open here for a long time, the only thing missing is a park and ride at the MCC station.

20. Intersection of the chord with the Entuziastov Highway. Here, almost all overpasses are already open, except for the direct passage to the south along the chord and the exit from the Entuziastov Highway.

21. Set up!

22. View from the highway of Enthusiasts to the south. On the right you can see the interchange with Budyonny Avenue.

23. In this place, on all diagrams, a "knot" is tied on the chord. The main course will go further south parallel to the MCC, and the chord itself will sharply go southeast to Vykhino.

24. At first glance, you can’t figure it out without a hundred grams. But everything is simple. On the left comes the chord from Vykhino. If you move straight along it, you will get to Budyonny Avenue (goes to the right in the frame), if you turn right, you will get to the continuation of the chord that goes to the north (at the bottom of the frame). From above, the MCC station "Andronovka" and grounded for the future construction of the highway at the top of the frame.

27. Unique time while the road is not open yet. You can freely walk along the track on foot.

29. View of the same interchange from Perovo.

30. Large freight station "Perovo".

33. View towards the park "Kuskovo". In this section, the chord is almost ready.

35. View towards Vykhino. The first overpass is the streets of Papernik and Yunosti, the second, in the distance, is the Moscow Ring Road.

36. It turns out that in the near future we are waiting for the opening of the chord from the Moscow Ring Road to the Open Highway. For me personally, a person living in Izmailovo, this will be a long-awaited event.

Dmitry Chistoprudov,

The schemes were also posted for review on the first floor of the Sviblovo district administration building. And the public hearings themselves are scheduled for August 20. Reconstruction of a huge area of the north-east of the city is to be large-scale and information about this will be useful not only for cyclists, but also for pedestrians and, of course, motorists.
Here are just a few proposed changes: near the Sviblovo metro station, all surface pedestrian crossings will be removed and a circular car traffic, street Amundsen want to continue to New Bering right across the square(!), at the crossroads Yenisei and Pilot Babushkin will also appear Roundabout Circulation cars, and a huge six-lane overpass (the same chord) will become a new transit highway in our district. Now about everything in order.

Let's say right away that there is nothing in the submitted materials about the cycling infrastructure. In addition to the sign for bicycle parking near the TPU, on one of the diagrams, but where exactly they will be located, the designer could not answer. Actually, it's expected. However, let's try to parse the information that has already been published.

TPU "Sviblovo"

01. This is how the picture of what they are going to build looks like.

02. Although there are a lot of documents and various schematic images of TPU, it is not easy to figure out what is what.
This is how the plan of the entire territory to be reconstructed looks like

03. The most important document in the materials on TPU "Sviblovo" this one: "TERRITORIAL LAYOUT PROJECT OF THE TRANSPORTATION AND INTERCHANGE HUB (THU) SVIBLOVO SUE "MOSCOW METROPOLITEN".
The text is placed inside the file "Approved part. Corrected".

The very essence of what is planned to be done lies in Explanatory note and it is written in a more or less understandable language.

This "note" will be published in full:

Explanatory note

on the planning organization of the territory and construction, reconstruction of capital construction projects. The territory allocated for the formation of a transport interchange hub is located on multifunctional public areas and sections of the street and road network in the area of the Sviblovo metro station.

The territory for the development of the planning project is 10.23 hectares.

The territory of the transport hub, allocated within the boundaries of the planning project, is 8.27 hectares.

The land surveying area of the transport interchange hub is 10.23 hectares. The formation of a transport interchange hub in the area of the Sviblovo metro station provides for:

  • construction of an underground-overground complex with service facilities with access to bus stop pavilions and the entrance to the metro station;

  • construction of stop pavilions with service facilities associated with the lobby of the metro station;

- construction of a hotel with accommodation on the first floor of an inter-district multifunctional center.

The transport solution of the TPU project includes the reorganization street and road network with a decrease in regulated intersections due to the arrangement of roundabouts at the intersection of Kolskaya, Novy Beringov proyezd, Amundsen and Raduzhnaya streets in accordance with the established red lines. For the convenience of moving passengers, the layout project proposes the organization of sheds over the subway and stop pavilions in order to provide a comfortable connection between the stops of the ground urban passenger transport and the entrances to the subway. At the ground level in the areas of the planned location of the TPU, the dimensions of buildings and structures are determined.

The project provides for changing the boundaries of the PK facility (No. 99-SVAO "Square at the intersection of Snezhnaya and Kolskaya streets") in accordance with the established red lines. The decrease in the area is fully compensated by the inclusion of sections No. 10, No. 11 and No. 14 in the PC with total area 0.40 ha.

04. What is written in this text? Perhaps the most main news- this is the loss of the square near the metro. The streetAmundsen"cut" the square, a roundabout car traffic will be made. From green zone little will be left. The designer's representative assured us in the City Council that the road would "go between the trees". Somewhere here...

05. And here too there will be a road

06. Or maybe you can successfully "embed" car traffic here!? In general, the square, it seems, will no longer exist. It's a pity.

07. Here is an interesting "scheme" from the presentation materials "as if" tells about the problems of pedestrians in this place.
It is not very clear who from the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs walks along this arrow. On the contrary, they move more on the other side, near Shopping center "Sviblovo". But here the main thing is more red. Like "everything is bad here, but it will be good."

08. Another one important topic- Pedestrian crossings. This is what human flows look like in design documents.
The diagram is basically correct. That's just the desire to drive pedestrians "into the dungeon" is not the best option.

According to the project, all pedestrian ground crossings near the Sviblovo metro station are being converted into underground ones!!!

09. These land crossings will not be

10. This ground pedestrian crossing will also not be

11. It won't happen either

12. And this ground crossing will disappear. Everything underground!
Probably, car enthusiasts might like it. Well, what will pedestrians, cyclists, people with wheelchairs say?

13. Everything looks great in the pictures in the council. There are escalators to the street, and navigation, and even GROUND CROSSINGS with a zebra and a traffic light (look at the middle photo below)! Strange huh?! According to the plan, only underground passages, but the picture shows a normal passage and a zebra! At our remark, the representative of the designer shrugged his shoulders: "There are errors in the materials, it's true ... We have mixed up the name of the street on the map ... Sorry."
Although it would be more correct to cross out this photo with a zebra with a large red marker.

14. There is also a presentation in the council about green spaces. It is not clear where exactly this bench will be placed.

15. Probably in place Square a few trees will be left, they will find a place for a bench there.
The fact is that a few years ago, two shopping centers. It is clear that now they will not be demolished, but they will expand roads and build facilities TPU now possible only due to the latter green area, that is, at the expense of the Square.
Here's what it looks like now" public space"near the metro. Solid malls ...

16. Whether the famous "stop with a pine tree" will survive after all this construction "kneading" is also unknown ...

In general, this is TPU "Sviblovo" will build. It is important to have time to make comments and make suggestions. There are many questions: the fence of the house 28th Snowy(something needs to be done with it), hotel, parking lots, location of OT stops, etc.

Northeast chord

17. All information materials can be seen.It is almost impossible to make out anything on the maps.

But if you download this file to your computer, you will get very detailed map our region and those places where the chord will go. You can look at the map itself and the objects marked on it for a long time: the magnification allows you to see some details...

18. Here, for example, it turned out the new kind street intersections Yenisei and Pilot Babushkin.
Here they want to organize a circular movement of cars

19. Cyclists, of course, are interested in how chord crossings will be organized at popular intersections: with Serebryakov passing through, with agricultural street, with street Wilhelm Pick, with street Snowy etc. By the way, the construction of such major highways always entails the reconstruction of adjacent streets.
For example, 1st Botanical passage according to the planning project for a new residential quarter, it will become a 4-lane highway ...

20. For example, now many cyclists and pedestrians use these ground crossings near the 1st Botanical passage. What will happen after the erection of the chord is unclear.

21. The further cycling route to the side is also important VDNH: under the canvas MKZD and along the construction Chinese Business Center . Now there are few pedestrians and it is convenient to pass by bicycle. How will cycling flows be organized in this section after such a large-scale construction of the chord and TPU " Botanical Garden" not yet reported.

Questions about how car traffic, cycling and pedestrian traffic will be organized should be asked to designers now. As part of the Public Hearings, incl. And considering also the plans of the city authorities to build several more huge residential areas in the north-east of the capital (you can read about this and), it can be assumed that in the coming years both car traffic and bicycle routes and the existing pedestrian infrastructure in these areas of the city can greatly change. In what direction - we will see very soon.

For those who are not on vacation), here are the details of the Public Hearing:

meetings participants public hearings will be held on August 20, 2015 at 19:00 at the following addresses:

According to the project for planning the territory of a linear object of the street and road network: a section of the North-Eastern chord from Otkrytoye Highway to the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow Railway, including the reconstruction of the Bogorodsky overpass.
